Psalm 50:1-3:

1 THE MIGHTY One, God, the Lord, speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. 

2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. 

3 Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages. 

I also like the Message Bible for these verses:

50 The God of gods — it's God! — speaks out, shouts, "Earth!" welcomes the sun in the east,
farewells the disappearing sun in the west. 
2 From the dazzle of Zion,
God blazes into view. 
3 Our God makes his entrance,
he's not shy in his coming.
Starbursts of fireworks precede him. 

THAT is OUR God! The One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible! He does NOT keep silent! He is speaking to you NOW! Are you listening? Spend time in His presence and you will  learn to recognize His voice! There is NO short cut for spending time getting to know Him! Paul said, in Philippians 3:10, that his determined purpose was to get to know HIM more! If Paul needed to know HIM more, we certainly do! And then verse 23 says this:

23 He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God. 

"Salvation" here is the Hebrew word "yesha`", which means: liberty, deliverance, prosperity, safety, welfare, rescue, victory! I know that I really desire that God demonstrate those things in MY life! Do you? Then let's praise and thank HIM! This song from the Hillsong CD, A Beautiful Exchange, is a good way to start!
