Shalom,

Joshua 1:8 says:

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

"You shall meditate" is the Hebrew word "hagar", which means: to murmur, to ponder, to to imagine, to mutter, to speak, to study, to talk, to utter. That means to think about it and to hear it, either from your own mouth or someone else's! I have found that an exceptional tool for MY meditation is music! Hearing the Word of God in song has really helped my spiritual growth! The Bible Plan reading in Genesis for today is found in chapters 41-42. Pharaoh had his dream of the seven fat and seven skinny cows and then the seven plump ears of corn and the seven blighted ones. I am sure you remember the story and the fact that Joseph interpreted his dream and was made second in command in all of Egypt. This enabled Joseph to meet the needs of his hungry brothers and be restored to his family! God's man for God's plan! Here is a fun song from the Singing Bible about this:

Don't you just love it? You can find the Singing Bible on Amazon.com or many Christian Book outlets. Keep meditating!

Shalom in Him!
