Shalom,

Psalm 47 starts right out with a verse that confirms what we looked at yesterday! Verse 1:

1 O CLAP your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy!

In case you may be tempted to think that this means a little, soft yell, we will look at the word "shout". It is the Hebrew word "ruwa`, which means:  to split the ears with sound, to blow an alarm, to shout for joy, to cry out, to shout a war-cry, to shout in triumph, to shout in applause. That sounds pretty noisy to me! Here is a video of a Hillsong United song that puts this verse to action! The short part about India in the beginning is showing WHY we shout!

In Exodus 3-4 we read about Moses and the burning bush. So many people THINK they know where an offshoot of the original bush is located and they travel there to see it! Some people would like to hear God speak to them from a bush! But if you are a believer in Jesus of Nazareth, then you get to hear the voice of God from the very inside of YOU! You don't NEED, and shouldn't WANT, a voice from a bush! In fact, if you, as a believer, actually watched the above video and listened to the sound, God spoke loud and clear to you! Do what He said to do and you'll have more confidence that you can hear His voice next time! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
