Shalom,

Psalm 32:8-11:

8 I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
9 Be not like the horse or the mule, which lack understanding, which must have their mouths held firm with bit and bridle, or else they will not come with you.
10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness.

11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you who are upright and in right standing with Him]; shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

I REALLY like this passage in the Message Bible:

8 Let me give you some good advice;
I'm looking you in the eye
and giving it to you straight:

9 "Don't be ornery like a horse or mule
that needs bit and bridle
to stay on track."

10 God-defiers are always in trouble;
God-affirmers find themselves loved
every time they turn around.

11 Celebrate God.
Sing together — everyone!
All you honest hearts, raise the roof!

Now THAT is simple and to-the-point!  When was the last time YOU raised the roof in YOUR church? How about at home? That's REALLY where it has to start! Be meek (teachable) and learn from the Word of God how a believer in Jesus of Nazareth is SUPPOSED to operate! Then BE who God made YOU to be! Here is a "roof raising" song for you!

Let's get rid of the lampshades and the disguises! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
