Shalom,

I LOVE today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin because it covers exactly how to receive JESUS as LORD and SAVIOUR!

Receive Him

But as many as received him [Jesus Christ], to them gave he power [the right] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. — JOHN 1:12

Receiving Jesus Christ is an act of the will. So man acts on the Word of God by an act of his will. Man knows he is without a Savior, without an approach to God, without eternal life, so he can look up to God and pray, in essence:

Father, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I know You will not turn me away, or cast me out, because You said in Your Word, “. . . him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He died for my sins, according to the Scriptures. I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification, according to the Scriptures. “Justification” means that I might be set right with God. I believe that because of His death, burial, and resurrection, I am set right with God. So I receive Jesus as my Savior, and I confess Him as my Lord. Your Word says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” I am calling on You now, so I know I am saved. And You said, “If thou shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” I’m confessing that with my mouth. I believe it in my heart. So I am saved. You said, “. . . with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.” And with my heart I believe that I am made right with God. And You said, “. . . with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” So with my mouth I confess, I am saved! Thank You, Lord!

HALLELUJAH!!! I hope that YOU have prayed this and recieved JESUS already! NOW, go our and share whit GREAT GOOD NEWS with everyone you meet, adding to GOD'S FAMILY! Here is Brandon Lake with "Adoption Song":

Don’t Think Now, Take The Road

And Peter…walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid. — Matthew 14:29-30

The wind was actually boisterous, the waves were actually high, but Peter did not see them at first. He did not reckon with them, he simply recognised his Lord and stepped out in recognition of Him, and walked on the water. Then he began to reckon with the actual things, and down he went instantly. Why could not our Lord have enabled him to walk at the bottom of the waves as well as on the top of them? Neither could be done saving by recognition of the Lord Jesus.

We step right out on God over some things, then self-consideration enters in and down we go. If you are recognising your Lord, you have no business with where He engineers your circumstances. The actual things are, but immediately you look at them you are overwhelmed, you cannot recognise Jesus, and the rebuke comes: “Wherefore didst thou doubt?” Let actual circumstances be what they may, keep recognising Jesus, maintain complete reliance on Him.

If you debate for a second when God has spoken, it is all up. Never begin to say — “Well, I wonder if He did speak?” Be reckless immediately, fling it all out on Him. You do not know when His voice will come, but whenever the realisation of God comes in the faintest way imaginable, recklessly abandon. It is only by abandon that you recognise Him. You will only realise His voice more clearly by recklessness.

Full of His Goodness

For the Word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Psalm 33:4-5 NKJV

Never doubt that God is a good God, and that He loves you more than you could possibly imagine.

God doesn’t measure out a small portion of goodness towards you; He isn’t stingy. God’s goodness comes in great quantity. He loves to pour out His great goodness in quantities that are exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think.

The Scripture tells us the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Full means there’s no space for more. Think about a glass of water; when it’s full to capacity, you can’t add more.

If the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord, then His goodness toward you is unlimited. God’s goodness is infinitely beyond any need or want you might have. In other words, God can’t get any “gooder.”

God’s goodness is an expression of His love, which is never ending. It is impossible for you to get to the place where God says, “Sorry, you’ve received too much of My goodness; this is where it ends.” No! The Bible says, “For He is good, for His mercy endures forever” (2 Chronicles 5:13 NKJV).

God is a good God. He and His inexhaustible goodness cannot be separated. Anywhere God is, His goodness will be there too. So, no matter where you are or what you may be facing, you can count on God’s righteousness and justice because the earth is full of His goodness.

Confession: God’s goodness toward me is unlimited. I choose to take my eyes off of my circumstances and focus instead on the goodness of God that fills the earth and is unending.

AMEN!!! THIS is what GOD desires for every one of His children! HALLELUJAH! Here Brandon Lake with "Count 'Em":

Hang On

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  Isaiah 55:11

Did you know that the battleground for the problem you’re facing right now is in your mind and on your lips? If you’ll hit the devil with the Word and cast the care of the situation over on God, you’ll win.

Let me warn you though, hanging on to the Word isn’t always easy. The devil knows that if he doesn’t steal it from you, you’ll use it to enforce his defeat.

So don’t be surprised when he sends an evil spirit to exalt itself against the Word of God. If you’re sick, he may begin to tell you, “You’re not healed. You know that healing’s not for today. Even if it were, it wouldn’t work for you. It might work for someone else but not you.”

If he starts to tell you that kind of thing, don’t buy it! Don’t start worrying around about it and thinking, Oh my, I’m afraid I’m not going to get healed. I sure don’t feel healed. Why, I’m probably going to just get worse and worse….

Remember this: It’s the Word that does the work, not the one holding on to it. It’ll work for anyone who’ll put it to work. It’ll work for you just like it worked for Jesus when He walked the earth.

He told Satan, “It is written!” No matter what the devil tries to tell you, refuse to let go of the Word. Tell him what is written concerning your situation. Let the Word fight its own fight. It’ll whip the devil every time.

AMEN! I LOVE this: IT'S THE WORD THAT DOES THE WORK!!! ALLOW THE WORD OF GOD TO WORK FOR YOU! Here is Brandon Lake and Brooke Ligertwood with "Honey In The Rock":

Today's "Faith Food" devotional is another powerful TRUTH!

Divine Nature

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: thatby these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped thecorruption that is in the world through lust. — 2 PETER 1:4

When you became a child of God, God imparted His own nature — eternal life — to you. This life, this nature, this being, this substance of God, instantly changed your spirit.

You passed from spiritual death — the realm of Satan — into life, which is the realm of God (1 John 3:14). You passed from the dominion of Satan into the dominion of Christ.

When you received eternal life, the satanic nature passed out of you. The corruption from which you have escaped is spiritual death, the satanic nature (2 Peter 1:4).

The satanic nature passed out of you, not theoretically, but actually. Second Corinthians 5:17 states, “. . . old things are passed away . . . .” And God’s nature came into you.

Now you are a partaker of God’s divine nature — the nature of God — the life of God!

Confession: God’s life is in me. God’s nature is in me. God’s ability is in me. God’s wisdom is in me. For me to fail, God would have to fail. And God can never fail! I am a partaker of His divine nature.

God’s Ordained Way

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” John 6:51

Let me tell you about this supernatural food and drink we get to take. It is the only food and drink that is not based on fallen creation or dependent on the efforts of fallen man. When we eat and drink this supernatural food, we are partaking of the work of redemption and not creation.

In the above verse, when the Lord Jesus said He is the living bread, the word life here is the Greek word zoe, which is the same Greek word used in the Septuagint when God breathed into Adam and Adam received life (Genesis 2:7).

While zoe refers to the life that God lives by, zoe also refers to physical life, health, vitality, and wholeness. The food that God has given us to eat is not perishable food but living bread—Jesus, who came from heaven and was given for us to have life.

There are some who think Jesus was simply talking about believing in Him. But our Lord Jesus went on to say, “For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him” (John 6:55–56).

Did you know two different Greek words are used here for the word eats? When Jesus said, “If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever” (John 6:51), the generic Greek word phago for eats was used. Phago can be used in a physical sense or in a spiritual sense, as in to feed on Christ.

But when Jesus said, “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him” (John 6:56), the Greek word used for eats is trogo, which means “to gnaw or crunch,” like when eating nuts. There is no way you can spiritualize a crunching sound. Jesus was not talking about spiritually eating or feeding here. He was talking about physically eating, about chewing with a crunching sound!

To understand more what our Lord was referring to, consider what He was talking about on the night of His betrayal when He broke the bread and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And consider what He was referring to when He gave them the cup, saying, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:26–28). Yes, He was talking about His coming crucifixion, but He was also instituting the holy Communion, a physical meal.

The Communion is God’s ordained way or delivery system for us to receive the unending, holy, youthful, overcoming, and perpetually healthy life Jesus has as we “eat His flesh and drink His blood.” All that is required is that you come boldly and partake, believing that His finished work qualifies you for any healing you need!

Today I am sharing Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "From Faith To Faith" devotional!

Blessings by the Bushel

And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you.

How many blessings are you going to receive from the Word of God? It depends on how many you expect to receive. When God measures them out to you, He’ll be using your measuring stick, not His own. He always works that way.

Two people can hear God’s Word about healing, for example. One will measure it with faith. “Praise God, by His stripes I was healed!” he’ll say. “I believe that with all my heart, and I’m going to keep on believing it until I receive my healing.”

The other will measure it with skepticism. “I don’t care what Bible verses he comes up with,” he’ll say. “I just don’t trust that preacher. I’ll give this healing stuff a try, but I doubt very much if anything’s going to come of it.”

Both of those people will get exactly what they expect. God will measure to them just as they measured the Word. One will get healed…the other won’t.

I must warn you though, sometimes measuring the Word with faith is hard. Years ago, when Gloria first read the scripture, “Owe no man anything,” it was tempting for her to measure it as a curse, not a blessing. We were living in a terrible little house at the time, and she wanted a new one more than just about anything.

How were we ever going to buy a decent house without borrowing? It didn’t seem possible. So, to her, it was as if that scripture had said, “Gloria, you can’t have a new house.”

But she refused to measure it that way. She grabbed the devil by the throat and said, “Look here now, you’re not going to cheat me out of my house.” Then she started believing that somehow God could provide her with a house debt free. Sure enough, He did.

If you want to receive blessings by the bushel load, start going to the Word with a bushel basket. Put a big measure of faith in the hand of God. He’ll fill it to overflowing and give it right back to you!

AMEN! We do NOT want YOU to miss out on any of God's promised BLESSINGS! Get into the Word of God, and, most importantly, get that WORD inside of YOU! Here is Brandon Lake with "Tear Off The Roof":

Believing Has No Limit

If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21:21-22 NKJV

Simply put, Jesus was telling His disciples there are no limits with God. They could have whatever they asked—if only they believed.

The only thing that limits what God can do in your life is your belief system. Think about this: your life right now is a result of what you’ve believed over the past weeks, months, and years. Therefore, if you want to change your life, you must first change what you believe.

The way to tap into the limitless miracle power of God is by simply having faith, refusing to doubt, and believing the Word of God. When Jesus said, “Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive,” He was telling His disciples to think outside the box and believe God for the impossible. The only requirement for their receiving was their believing.

When you are believing God for the impossible, your natural mind will come up with many reasons why it can’t happen. Your natural mind will tell you why it won’t work. Your natural mind will block the supernatural by limiting you to the probable, the logical, and the rational. But if God’s Word promises it will happen, then it can and will happen—when you choose to believe.

Belief in God and His Word opens the door to the supernatural. It moves you into the limitless ability and goodness of God. So, beginning today, create a new life for yourself and be all you were created to be. Live your dream by first doing what Jesus told you to do—believe!

Confession: I choose to open the door to the supernatural today. I remove any limits I have established by my wrong thinking, and I choose instead to believe what God’s says in His Word. I now receive God’s limitless ability and goodness, and I declare I will be all He created me to be.

Gift Of God

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. — ROMANS 6:23

God contacts men through their spirits.

When the Word of God is preached to a sinner who has never heard the Gospel and conviction comes upon him, it’s not a physical feeling — neither is it a mental something, because he may not even understand it — but it’s down deep on the inside. The Spirit of God through the Word of God is contacting the spirit of that sinner!

When that man responds to the call of God and the Gospel message, his spirit is born again. His spirit is recreated by receiving eternal life.

Receiving eternal life is the most miraculous event in life. It’s called the New Birth. It’s called the new creation. It is, in reality, God imparting His very nature, substance, and being to our human spirits.

It is described in Second Corinthians 5:17 and 18.

The New Birth is God actually giving spiritual birth to a man. And this instantaneous New Birth takes place, not in the body, not in the soul, but in the spirit of man! The spirit of man becomes a brand-new, miracle creation in God!

Confession: I am a brand-new, miracle creation in Christ. God gave me the gift of eternal life. He imparted to my spirit His very nature, substance, and being. Residing in my own spirit is everything I’ll ever need to put me over in life.

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional:

Transformed by God’s Favor

The goodness of God leads you to repentance. Romans 2:4

Let me share with you a testimony of a youth whose life has been wonderfully transformed by the unmerited favor of God. This young man smoked his first cigarette when he was only 9 years old. By the time he was 14, he was already a seasoned gangster, peddling as well as taking drugs, and selling pirated movies.

With the money earned, he would treat his gang members to fancy clothes or meals, and even cover transport expenses for them to congregate for gang fights! At 15, the law caught up with him and he was sent to a boys’ reformatory home where he realized that his life needed to be turned around. And that was when God came into the picture. He said:

The home was where I first encountered God, even though I did not know it was Him then. One of my counselors, a Christian lady, prayed for me and for the first time in my life, I felt that there was “someone” watching over me. I did not think much about it then, but that’s when my heart and my perspective on life began to change.

I started attending New Creation Church (NCC) in September 2005. A friend had invited me to NCC earlier, but I declined. However, one day I happened to oversleep on the train and missed my stop. The platform I got off on was completely deserted, but I noticed a plastic bag left on one of the benches. I looked at its contents to see if I could tell who it belonged to and realized that inside it were actually sermon CDs from NCC!

So even when I didn't want to attend NCC, God sent the church to me! It was no coincidence. It was God-directed! When I played the CDs at home out of curiosity, the presence of God was so real. I experienced such intimacy with God. As I listened to Pastor Prince’s teachings, I knew that this was the God I had always believed in, a God who loves me regardless of who I am or what I do!

Pastor Prince’s teachings have set me free and given me a supernatural strength and passion to do His work. I don’t feel any more bondage when it comes to communicating with God, knowing that He can lead me in every situation.

The most significant change I have experienced has been my inward transformation. I used to have a very bad temper, which got me into a lot of fights because I was easily provoked. Being conscious of His love for me has delivered me from that. I also went from failing in high school to doing well enough in the polytechnic to qualify for a place in a university.

This young man is now a confident, cheerful person with a bright future. He gives talks at schools and at the boys’ reformatory home that he was in to share his journey with the youths and to encourage them. His life has been so incredibly transformed that even a government agency has enlisted him to speak to troubled youths.

He says that ever since Jesus entered His life, he has seen the Lord's grace and favor superabound in his life. Many doors have opened for him and his life has really been enriched, with breakthroughs in areas such as his work, studies, family, and relationships. Let’s give Jesus all the glory!

That’s what our young people need—a revelation of Jesus’ perfect love for them! There is a lost and dying world out there.

My friend, the Ten Commandments cannot be the only thing that youths know about Christianity anymore! How can they help but think that Christianity is nothing but rules, laws, and regulations on what they should or should not be doing? How can they help but imagine God to be someone who is angry with them and looking for opportunities to punish them?

If the young people in your community are to come to Jesus, they will need to know that Christianity is an intimate relationship with a loving God. Once they know this, they will be banging down the doors of churches every Sunday to get in to hear Jesus and His grace preached!

Beloved, I pray that like the young man whose testimony you just read, you will continue to allow Jesus to show you more and more of His perfect love for you every day.

HALLELUJAH!!! My prayer is thaty each one of us will keep our eyes and hearts open to BE THE LIGHT for those who do not YET know HIM! Here is Pat Barrett with "I've Got A Fire":

Encourage Yourself!

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

Do not allow discouragement and despair to rob you of the wonderful future God has prepared for you. It doesn’t matter how severe or distressing your situation might be right now, the pain you may be experiencing does not entitle you to just give up. You can’t give up. Instead, you must encourage yourself.

You do this by turning to the Word of God. Open your Bible and read it. Get those faith-building audio messages off the shelf and listen to them again. Go back and re-read books that will strengthen you. Don’t wait for someone with a special anointing for encouragement to come along. Encourage yourself!

Pick yourself up out of your distress, stand in front of your mirror, and say to yourself, “I can either stay distressed or I can be of good cheer. Which is it?” If your head drops, pull it back up and say, “No, that’s the wrong choice. I’m going to be of good cheer. I am not going to let this situation destroy me!”

Reach down into your spirit and begin to draw on the faith that abides within, saying, “I’m not going to give up. I am not a quitter. I’m a born winner. I’ve been born again with the very nature of God. I am not defeated. The battle is not even mine, it’s the Lord’s. But the victory is mine!”

Confession: If God is for me, who can be against me? I’m not going to give up. I’m not going to quit. I’m a born winner. I am born again with the life and nature of God. I am victorious and I have the victory in every situation.

Our Choice

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith. — PHILIPPIANS 1:21-25

Paul is talking here about physical death. Of course, the real Paul, the inner man, is not going to die. He’s going to go on living either way: departing and being with Christ, or abiding in the flesh.

Paul said he hadn’t decided yet. “I’m in a strait,” he said, “between the two. I want to go on and be with Christ, which is far better.” (If Paul had just said it would be better, that would have been wonderful, but he said it’s even better than better!) Then he said, “Yet I know to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.” If Paul was present in the flesh, he could teach and minister to these people. That was more needful for them.

Notice that Paul is making the choice. He didn’t say, “I’m going to leave it up to God, and whatever God chooses, I will accept.”

We have more to do with deciding to live or die than we have thought!

Confession: The real me is an eternal spirit being.

Shalom,

I LOVE today's "My Utmost For His Highest" devotional by Oswald Chambers!

Don’t Slack Off

Whatsoever ye shalt ask in My name, that will I do. — John 14:13

Am I fulfilling this ministry of the interior? There is no snare or any danger of infatuation or pride in intercession, it is a hidden ministry that brings forth fruit whereby the Father is glorified. Am I allowing my spiritual life to be frittered away, or am I bringing it all to one centre — the Atonement of my Lord? Is Jesus Christ more and more dominating every interest in my life? If the one central point, the great exerting influence in my life is the Atonement of the Lord, then every phase of my life will bear fruit for Him.

I must take time to realize what is the central point of power. Do I give one minute out of sixty to concentrate upon it? “If ye abide in Me” — continue to act and think and work from that centre — “ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Am I abiding? Am I taking time to abide? What is the greatest factor of power in my life? Is it work, service, sacrifice for others, or trying to work for God? The thing that ought to exert the greatest power in my life is the Atonement of the Lord. It is not the thing we spend the most time on that moulds us most; the greatest element is the thing that exerts most power. We must determine to be limited and concentrate our affinities.

“Whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do.” The disciple who abides in Jesus is the will of God, and his apparently free choices are God’s fore-ordained decrees. Mysterious? Logically contradictory and absurd? Yes, but a glorious truth to a saint.

Confident, Knowing

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. — 2 CORINTHIANS 5:6-8

“. . . We are always confident, knowing . . . .” I like that! Not hoping. Not guessing. Not maybe so. But knowing! Knowing that while “we” are at home in the body, “we” are absent from the Lord. Yes, God’s Spirit is in our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father,” but Jesus Christ, with a physical, flesh-and-bone resurrected body is at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. And when “we” are absent from the body, “we” will be present with Him there.

Who is “we”?

At the time of his physical death, man leaves his body. When he does, he is no less man than when he had his body. I don’t have space here to recount my entire testimony concerning my experience of dying (for the complete account, please see my minibook entitled, I Went to Hell). But I do want to say this: When I was outside my body, I was no less man than I was when I was inside my body. To me, I was just as real as I am now. I had the same shape. I had the same form. I had the same size. And I knew everything I knew before I left my body.

Confession: The real me lives inside my body. The real me is an eternal spirit being that will never die!

AMEN! Now that you KNOW that, never allow the enemy to cheat you of THIS LIFE ever again! He has no say, so give him NO VOICE! Here is Brandon Lake with "Adoption Song":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional!

Jehovah Shalom Is Your God

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33

I’m sure you want the Lord to manifest Himself as the God of peace when you are fearful. So let’s go deeper into what the “God of peace” means.

Don’t forget that Paul was Jewish, so when he said “the God of peace be with you” he was saying “Jehovah Shalom be with you.” “Jehovah Shalom” is Hebrew for “the God of peace.” Now, the first appearance of the name Jehovah Shalom is in the Old Testament story of Gideon in Judges 6.

As we read Gideon’s story, we discover that the Midianites terrorized Israel day and night, descending upon them like a swarm of marauding locusts and destroying their crops and pillaging their livestock. Fearful of their cruel enemies, the Israelites hid in dens and caves in the mountains.

It is no wonder Gideon was petrified and hid himself at the bottom of an abandoned winepress to thresh the measly stalks of dry grain he had somehow managed to scavenge. He was bound by fear and overcome by all the news of terror that surrounded him.

In the midst of Gideon’s fear, “the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, ‘The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!’” (Judges 6:12).

When you find the expression “the Angel of the LORD” in the Old Testament, it usually refers to our Lord Jesus in His preincarnate state. Jesus Himself appeared to Gideon when he was in the pit of fear and called him a mighty man of valor. Isn’t that amazing?

Are there moments when you feel besieged by fear? When you hear reports of terror or exposure to some virus, do you feel fearful and anxious? Has fear driven you into hiding? The truth is, regardless of how you feel, when our Lord Jesus looks at you right now, He sees you as a mighty man or mighty woman of courage.

Isn’t it amazing how our Lord looks at us? It’s not how we see ourselves that defines us; it is how our Lord Jesus sees us that defines us. That’s why we read His Word. We read it to discover what His Word says about us. My friend, no matter what state you are in right now and how messed up your life might be, the Lord Jesus sees the best in you.

He sees your potential, your gifting, your call, and your destiny to do great things in this life! And as the ending of Gideon’s story shows, He will guide you and cause you to be a testimony of His protection as you trust in Him and see yourself and your situations through His eyes.

The Never-Failing God

For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. — Hebrews 13:5

What line does my thought take? Does it turn to what God says or to what I fear? Am I learning to say not what God says, but to say something after I have heard what He says? “He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

“I will in no wise fail thee” (rv) — not for all my sin and selfishness and stubbornness and waywardness. Have I really let God say to me that He will never fail me? If I have listened to this say-so of God’s, then let me listen again.

“Neither will I in any wise forsake thee” (rv). Sometimes it is not difficulty that makes me think God will forsake me, but drudgery. There is no Hill Difficulty to climb, no vision given, nothing wonderful or beautiful, just the commonplace day in and day out — can I hear God’s say-so in these things?

We have the idea that God is going to do some exceptional thing, that He is preparing and fitting us for some extraordinary thing by and by, but as we go on in grace we find that God is glorifying Himself here and now, in the present minute. If we have God’s say-so behind us, the most amazing strength comes, and we learn to sing in the ordinary days and ways.

Shalom,

Today I want to share from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "Faith To Faith" devotional!

Free From Fear

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

What would you think if I told you that you could live without fear? Would you believe me if I said that despite what you saw on the news tonight, you could be perfectly at peace? Impossible? Unrealistic? No!

You see, fear isn’t just a reaction to external circumstances. It’s a spiritual force. It begins inside of you. And it is totally destructive. In fact, fear is Satan’s primary weapon. He moves in response to fear, the way God moves in response to faith. He challenges the promises of God with it.

An excellent example of this is found in Matthew 14 when Jesus invited Peter to come to Him on the water. “But when he [Peter] saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me” (verse 30).

What enabled Peter to walk on the water? His faith in the Word of Jesus. What caused Peter to sink? He saw the wind boisterous and he was afraid. It wasn’t the wind that defeated him, it was his fear of it! He looked at his circumstances, gave in to the fear, and the result was defeat. If Peter had kept his focus on Jesus, his faith would never have wavered. All the blustering and blowing in the world couldn’t have drawn him off course.

Faith is developed by meditating on God’s Word. Fear is developed by meditating on Satan’s lies. Such fearful meditation is called “worrying.” Don’t do it!

The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Use it to fight Satan every time he comes against you. Hold up your shield of faith and quench all of his fiery darts. Speak words of faith and fear will depart.

Shalom,

I LOVE today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E.Hagin!

In His Image

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness . . . . So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him . . . . — GENESIS 1:26-27

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people . . . . — PSALM 149:4

If man is made in the likeness of God, and God is a Spirit, then man, of necessity, must be a spirit.

God made man for His own pleasure. He made man to fellowship with Him. Man is not an animal. Man is in the same class with God; otherwise, he couldn’t fellowship with God.

Did you ever try to fellowship with a cow? Cows are in a different kingdom than you are in. They are in a different class. You can’t fellowship with them.

But we can fellowship with one another. And we can fellowship with God, because we are in the same class of being as God.

God is a Spirit. And man, created in the image and likeness of God, is also a spirit being.

Confession: God is a Spirit, and I am a spirit. I am created in God’s image and in His likeness. I am in the same class of being as God. I can give God pleasure. I can fellowship with Him.

Shalom,

I absolutely LOVE our Spoken Word Church devotional for today!

Screen Doubters

Screen doors prevent obnoxious insects from entering your home. You must assertively screen out people who are carriers of the virus of doubt and unbelief.

Boldly protect your ears and life from absorbing talk that does not edify and build.

"But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men."  (Matthew 16:23)

"A little leaven leaventh the whole lump."  (Galatians 5:9)

AMEN! And this is something that only YOU can do in your life! Do whatever it takes to protect your heart and  mind so that hearing from Holy Spirit will not be hindered! The BEST way to do this is to maintain a heart of GRATITUDE! Here is Brandon Lake with that very song!
