Shalom,

Psalm 45:1-2:

1 MY HEART overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to a King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer. 2 You are fairer than the children of men; graciousness is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.

The psalmist is, of course, speaking of the Messiah Jesus! Verses 6-7:

6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 7 You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

This was quoted by Paul in reference to Jesus in Hebrews 1:8-9:

8 But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness). 9 You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

From Genesis to Revelation, the Word of God speaks of Jesus! The Old Testament looks forward to His coming. The New Testament  declares that He has come AND that He is coming again! When you realize that Jesus is exactly WHO the Bible says that He is, THEN you are in position to understand that YOU, as a believer in Jesus of Nazareth, are also exactly WHO the Bible says YOU are! Meditate on THAT Truth and begin to see yourself the way God sees you! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
