Trust God to Stop the Attack
You serve a very capable God. He can turn the hearts of kings. You are on His mind this very moment. Your tears, your pain and your fears are very important to Him. He is about to move. Trust Him. Have confidence in Him. Have faith in Him.
"He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire." (Psalms 46:9)
1 The Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble [with reverential fear]! He sits [enthroned] above the cherubim, let the earth quake! 2 The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high above all the peoples. 3 Let them confess and praise Your great name, awesome and reverence inspiring! It is holy, and holy is He! 4 The strength of the king who loves righteousness and equity You establish in uprightness; You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob (Israel). 5 Extol the Lord our God and worship at His footstool! Holy is He! 6 Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name; they called upon the Lord, and He answered them. 7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies and the statutes that He gave them. 8 You answered them, O Lord our God; You were a forgiving God to them, although avenging their evildoing and wicked practices. 9 Extol the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy!
Our God IS a God of war! He is the God of Peace between Himself and mankind, when WE choose HIM! But He DOES war with our enemies! Remember that our warfare is NOT against flesh and blood, but against the demonic forces that are seeking to steal, kill and destroy God's people Who are called by His Name and Who walk in His power, blessing, anointing and strength! Ephesians 6:12:
12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
The next verses tell us how to put on the Armor of God in order to withstand any and every attack of the enemy! Remember also that though out warfare is not against people, those who choose to allow the enemy to use them to harm God's people WILL get caught in the crossfire! They have a choice! Pray for them to choose wisely, but refuse to be moved from God's calling, anointing and plan and purpose for your life! YOUR rewards in Heaven depend on YOUR obedience! AMEN!
