Shalom,

Happy Mother's Day to the Moms! We have a quote by John L. Mason on our Spoken Word Church website that says this: "Who said it? (An important question to ask of everything that you believe.)". This IS vitally important in Bible Study also! We read through the Book of Psalms and even use them for praise and worship. When we do this, we must realize that at the time these were written down, the believers lived under the Old Covenant. This was a Covenant with God that promised God's protection and provision if the people would obey His Word and do things a certain way. They had faith in the Messiah Who was to come for their Salvation! OUR faith is in the Messiah Who has already come, and has accomplished ALL that the Father had for Him to do! Those who receive Jesus as Lord and personal Savior now live under a better Covenant! Look at Hebrews 8:6:

6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. KJV

SO, when YOU are praising Him with the Psalms, make sure that you are thanking Him, rather than begging Him to do something that He has already provided for you! The only way to do that is to study His Word and find out what belongs to YOU because YOU are IN HIM! AMEN! Now receive it by faith and thank Him for it as though you already have it in hand! THAT is faith! AMEN! Now fully expect the manifestation of 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 in YOUR life!

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

AMEN! YOU are being changed, from the  inside out, as you continue to have intimate fellowship with HIM! Here is Hillsong with "Go":

Shalom in Him!
