Shalom,

I love this from Kenneth E. Hagin's Faith Food for today:

"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13).

What a striking promise!

When we are born into the family of God, the right and privilege to use the Name of Jesus is given to us by the New Birth. All authority vested in that Name is given to us so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

We sing songs about giving glory to God and we sometimes even just sing and shout "Glory to God!", but what REALLY brings Him glory? Using His Name to meet the needs of others, including ourselves and our own families, shows HIM off to the world! When HE can confirm His Word, He gets the glory! How are YOU giving God glory? Find the promises in the Word that apply to whatever YOU are believing God for. Use the Name of Jesus to proclaim them as yours, then stand back and watch the glory of God perform the necessary things in YOUR life! Then remember: give HIM all of the praise and honor and glory for it! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Live with "God Is Able":

"God Is Able"

[Verse 1]

God is able
He will never fail
He is almighty God
Greater than all we seek
Greater than all we ask
He has done great things

[Chorus]
Lifted up
He defeated the grave
Raised to life
Our God is able
In His name
We overcome
For the Lord
Our God is able

[Verse 2]
God is with us
God is on our side
He will make a way
Far above all we know
Far above all we hope
He has done great things

[Chorus]
Lifted up
He defeated the grave
Raised to life
Our God is able
In His name
We overcome
For the Lord
Our God is able

[Bridge]
God is with us
He will go before
He will never leave us
He will never leave us
God is for us
He has open arms
He will never fail us
He will never fail us

[Chorus (x2)]
Lifted up
He defeated the grave
Raised to life
Our God is able
In His name
We overcome
For the Lord
Our God is able

For the Lord
Our God is able
For the Lord
Our God is able

Shalom in Him!
