Shalom,

Today we read Galatians 4 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. Let's look at verses 4-7:
But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons]. And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ.

I have encountered SO many people who do not yet realize that not only did God create mankind with the ability to sin, but He did it on purpose, with His plan for our salvation already in place! His purpose? To have a people of free will who would choose HIM! He KNEW that we would eventually fall, and that this would give the enemy entrance into our world. But what the enemy, the devil, didn't know, and still cannot comprehend, is that God's Salvation Plan put US in position to become  God's SONS (and daughters!) and not just His creation! Once then enemy had JESUS crucified, which he could NOT have done without JESUS being in agreement with it, he was about to discover that he had played right into God's wonderful plan for all of mankind! Because JESUS had no sin of His own, when he was crucified (illegally) He BECAME sin with all of our sin! He bore it all and deposited it all in hell where it belongs, along with all sickness, disease, weakness and infirmity! When Holy Spirit blasted JESUS out of hell, the enemy was, and still is, beside himself with his failure (1 Corinthians 2:8)!

The GOOD NEWS is posted above! Verse 6 says that we REALLY ARE God's very own children! HE is our very own FATHER, when JESUS is our LORD! AMEN! Spend this entire weekend meditating on this wonderful goodness of God! Here is Hillsong with "Who You Say I AM":

Shalom in Him!
