Shalom,

There are two thoughts expressed in Proverbs 24 that I think are very important to our lives! The first is found in verses 3-4:
Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Anything, and everything, good in our lives comes from God, and HE gets all of the credit, praise, thanksgiving and worship for it! Sometimes those blessings come directly, and sometimes they come as a result of our obedience to His Word! We see above that the
'skillful and godly Wisdom' that comes from the fear of the Lord, and from digging in to His Word, are what is necessary to build those things that money cannot buy! A life, a home (as opposed to just a house!) and a family are built by the Wisdom that comes from God by His Word, His Spirit and His favor! These precious and valuable treasures in our lives, when attained in this way, cannot easily be shaken, and can never be lost! AMEN! The next thought I want to share is found here! Verses 5 & 10:
A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power; 10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

There is a benefit in being strong in the natural, by working out and eating right. However verse 5 tells us that to be wise is better than being strong! 1 Timothy 4:8 tells us that bodily exercise WILL do us good, but being wise and knowledgeable of God's Word is the FIRST priority! Why is that? Because when we are knowledgeable of God's Word, and led by His Spirit, we will be able to make decisions and choices that will be in line with God's plans and purposes for us, and will cause us to walk in His blessings and in protection, provision and safety! THEN, when we take care of our natural bodies, we will reap an even greater reward! AMEN! SO, do BOTH! THEN, we will NOT 'faint in the day of adversity', but will have what it takes to be MORE than a conqueror in every area, and at all times! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "You Are My Strength":

Shalom in Him!
