Shalom,

We are finishing Psalm 119 today in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Here are verses 96-100:
96 I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. 97 Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day. 98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies, for [Your words] are ever before me. 99 I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers, because Your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the aged, because I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

So many times religious people and unbelievers look at the Word of God as a rule book meant to make believers "tow the line" so that they don't receive punishment or banishment for sins committed. THAT is one of the saddest things I have ever heard! God's Word is TRUTH, by which every other idea should be judged (
John 17:17)! God's Word gives LIFE to those who will love and honor it (Proverbs 4:22)! God's Word is LIGHT (Psalm 119:105)! God's Word is ALIVE (Hebrews 4:12)! God;s Word is God-Breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17)! God's Word is PERFECT (Psalm 18:30)! God's Word is HEALTH (Proverbs 4:22)! I hope that you are getting the picture that the Word of God was given so that we could learn OF Him and receive FROM Him, everything that He has desired to bless our lives with ! AMEN! Put the Word first place in you0r life and the Word will WORK for you! Here is Hillsong Worship with "I Will Boast In Christ":

Shalom,

Today and tomorrow we are going through Psalm 119 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. I love this Psalm because it is "all about the Word"! Verses 1-2:
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will). Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart.

Notice that even under the Old Covenant the people were never forsaken for making mistakes, but extremely blessed for obeying the Word! The main purpose for the Law is to show us our need for a Savior. The only person to ever keep the Law without fail (sin) was JESUS! That qualified Him to stand as our perfect representative before God! When we receive JESUS as Lord and Savior, there will never be condemnation from God for sin! There WILL be blessings for keeping (obeying) the Word, and when we DO sin, we have the way back provided (
1 John 1:9) so that the enemy cannot gain entrance into our lives. To continue to knowingly sin after being born again invites the enemy into areas of our life that he has no legal right to be! I hope that you will choose to put God's Word as your final authority, standard of behavior and source of TRUTH! Blessings await! Shalom,

Today I simply want to encourage you with some "Words from the Lord"! He gave them specifically for YOU (and me and every other born again believer!) These statements are here:

  • The LORD is GOOD and His mercy is FOREVER! So give Him thanks!
  • The LORD is on your side! So make sure that YOU are on HIS!
  • It is MUCH better for YOU to put confidence in God than in any human being!
  • The LORD is your Strength, your Song and your Salvation!
  • THIS day was made for you by God Himself! So REJOICE!
Here are the verses, from Psalm 118, they cover these words of encouragement!
  • O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
  • The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
The Lord is on my side and takes my part, He is among those who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established upon those who hate me.
  • It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
  • 14 The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.
  • 24 This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I hope that YOU are encouraging yourself in the LORD, every day, as David did when the enemy tried to discourage him! Remember, from our partner, Jerry Savelle: "If satan can't steal your joy (DON'T LET HIM!) he can't keep your goods!"  He has NO authority over the born again believer! WE belong to the Most High God! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Look To The Son":

Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers has a very important question for us to ask ourselves when we are set to ask God for something! Here is the portion that I am speaking of!

Seekest thou great things for thyself? — Jeremiah 45:5

Are you seeking great things for yourself? Not seeking to be a great one, but seeking great things from God for yourself. God wants you in a closer relationship to Himself than receiving His gifts, He wants you to get to know Him. A great thing is accidental, it comes and goes. God never gives us anything accidental. There is nothing easier than getting into a right relationship with God except when it is not God Whom you want but only what He gives.

If you have only come the length of asking God for things, you have never come to the first strand of abandonment, you have become a Christian from a standpoint of your own. “I did ask God for the Holy Spirit, but He did not give me the rest and the peace I expected.” Instantly God puts His finger on the reason — you are not seeking the Lord at all, you are seeking something for yourself. Jesus says — “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Ask God for what you want, and you cannot ask if you are not asking for a right thing. When you draw near to God, you cease from asking for things. “Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.” Then why ask? That you may get to know Him.

We KNOW from the Word of God how to receive things FROM God! 1 John 5:14-15:
14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him

Find out what the Word of God has to say about whatever is on your mind! Meditate on those verses, and then approach God with HIS Word on your lips! He ONLY hears His Word! And WHEN He hears, we HAVE the answer! AMEN! While you and I are studying the Word, everyday, we are getting to really KNOW Him better! THAT is the ultimate goal! Our Father desires that we KNOW Him AS our Father! He desires that we know and understand His DEEP, ETERNAL and UNCONDITIONAL Love for us! Meditate on THAT and you will find yourself falling DEEPLY in love with Him! Deeper than you ever thought possible! AMEN! Here is Hillsong United with "Oceans", a GREAT song of surrender and commitment! Sing it out! Sing it from your heart! Sing it to HIM! AMEN!

Shalom,

Today's
"Health Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin is POWERFUL!!!

The Gospel Is the Power

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)
The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also the Greek.

I have a footnote in my Bible that says the word "salvation" means deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness. In this Gospel of salvation, there is not only remission of sins and the New Birth, but there's also healing.

I heard about some meetings that Brother T. L. Osborn had in Africa. Blind people were instantly healed while he was preaching. He never prayed for anyone. He never laid hands on anyone.

There were about seven or eight people in attendance who were chained like animals. They were down on all fours. Some of them were naked; they were making funny sounds like animals. They were demon-possessed.

Brother Osborn preached, "Jesus is the same today as He was when He was on the earth. When He was on the earth, He healed people. Jesus is alive and He is here in Spirit. He will heal people now, just as He did then."

You see, the Gospel is the power. No one touched or prayed for these men in chains. One fellow was on all fours barking like a dog. Suddenly, he lifted up his head and said, "Jesus, Jesus." Then he stood up like a man and was instantly all right. Every single one of them stood up and was instantly delivered.

What happened? The Gospel went forth. The Word of God went forth! The Gospel is the power of God unto healing. When the Gospel, the Word of God, gets into people, it will heal them.

Confession:
The Word of God is the power of God. As I read the Word and meditate on the Word, I am healed.

AMEN! If we would simply preach the Gospel and allow God to take care of confirming it, we, also, we see instant manifestations of His GLORY! It is when we listen to the lies of the enemy that try to undermine our faith, trust and confidence in the God of the Bible and His Word that our confidence falters and we become timid! Guess what? YOU and I are NOT responsible for the results, but we ARE responsible for presenting the Word for HIM to confirm! AMEN! Now let's get out there and DO IT! Amen! here is Hillsong with "Children of the Light":

Shalom,

There is SO much in Psalm 115 to talk about!

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness! Why should the nations say, Where is now their God? But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not; They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither can they make a sound with their throats. They who make idols are like them; so are all who trust in and lean on them. O Israel, trust and take refuge in the Lord! [Lean on, rely on, and be confident in Him!] He is their Help and their Shield. 10 O house of Aaron [the priesthood], trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield. 11 You who [reverently] fear the Lord, trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield. 12 The Lord has been mindful of us, He will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron [the priesthood], 13 He will bless those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great. 14 May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children. 15 May you be blessed of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth! 16 The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men. 17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither any who go down into silence. 18 But we will bless (affectionately and gratefully praise) the Lord from this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

The focus of ALL worship SHOULD be the One, True, God of the Bible! He is the ONLY One worthy of our complete devotion, love, thanksgiving and appreciation! What has mankind done, though, that is contrary to this TRUTH? Just think for a moment of every award show, ceremony, medal, trophy, written article giving accolades, statue, plaque, banner, flag, handprint, tweet, picture, sign, jersey, autograph, etc. that you have personally observed that recognizes the achievements of a human being! Appreciating accomplishments, hard work, commitment and dedication is not wrong, it has simply been taken so far overboard by a mankind who no longer acknowledges the God of the Bible as the SOURCE of every good thing (strength, talent, ability, opportunity, godly connection, favor and anointing) that these have become as much idols as the lifeless statues, figures and objects that the heathen and backslidden people of this Psalm worshipped! It is past time to return adoration to the One, True, God of the Bible, Who alone is worthy, and simply give a nod and applause to the rest! The promise to those who do this is found in verse 13 above:

13 He will bless those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great.

AMEN! Let US say this, from verse 1:

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness!

This song, from Hillsong Worship, does just that! "Love So Great":

Shalom,

Today's devotional by Andrew Womack is great reminder that our thought life is so very important to our walking in victory in every area!

Luke 8:50 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."
MATTHEW 9:23-31; MARK 5:35-43; LUKE 8:49-56

Jesus told Jairus to "believe only" implying that faith and fear can operate in us at the same time. This is also the reason James tells us not to be double-minded, or to waiver (James 1:5-8). Fear will negate faith. We can have both thoughts of faith and thoughts of unbelief at the same time.

Fear and faith are opposing forces. Fear is actually faith in reverse. Fear is believing something or someone other than God. Therefore, fear makes us subject to Satan and his death just as faith makes us recipients of all that God has to offer. This is the reason Jesus told Jairus, "Fear not." Jairus' fear would have sealed his daughter's death.

Instead of trying to build huge amounts of faith to overcome our fears and unbelief, a simpler method is to remove our fears by cutting off their source. Then, our simple "child-like" faith that remains will do the job. It doesn't take big faith - just pure faith.
Where does fear come from? Second Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind." It doesn't come from God. The way that fear is able to come upon us is that we take our attention off of Jesus and put it on our situation.

Fear or doubt cannot "just overcome" us. We have to let it in. In the same way that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, fear comes by hearing or seeing something contrary to God's Word. We would not be tempted with fear or doubt if we didn't consider things that Satan uses to minister that fear and doubt. Satan tries to distract us with thinking about our problems. No problem is too big for God. We should cast our concern about the problem over on God and just keep our eyes on Jesus, the Word.

Amen! Remember that faith the size of a mustard seed is ENOUGH to get the job done, IF it is not crowded out of our hearts by thoughts and meditations of fear! Since we KNOW that God didn't give fear, let's refuse to accept that delivery! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "I Will Exalt You":

Shalom,

I'm sure you can tell from recent posts that I LOVE the Book of Psalms! I have not only read through these twice a year following our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan, but have listened to them over and over again on my iPod! They are such an encouragement because they emphasize that our HELP is ALWAYS in the Lord our God! His Word is never changing and we can always count on it. SO, rejoice in every situation, because: GOD! AMEN! Here is Psalm 113:
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever From the rising of the sun to the going down of it and from east to west, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens! Who is like the Lord our God, Who has His seat on high, Who humbles Himself to regard the heavens and the earth! [The Lord] raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap and the dung hill, That He may seat them with princes, even with the princes of His people. He makes the barren woman to be a homemaker and a joyful mother of [spiritual] children. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you fall asleep at night, be praising HIM! That simply means that we can be in an attitude of praise at all times. When we do this, spontaneous praise will come from us at every good thing that happens! Remember, EVERY good thing comes from HIM (
James 1:17)! Amen! Another fun thing to note: if we are ALL praising Him from the time the sun rises in OUR area, then HE will be praised, and hearing our praises, every moment of every day, as that sun continues to rise all around the world! You know: As the world turns! And I am NOT speaking of a soap opera! THIS is REAL life! Now we will hear about REAL LOVE from Hillsong Young and Free!

Shalom,

Yesterday we looked at Psalm 111 from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. Today's Psalm 112 is filled with exciting promises for those who will choose the One, True God and His Word and His ways! Remember, as you read this, that these wonderful promises were given to those under the Old Covenant, and OUR Covenant is new, and better, than theirs (Hebrews 8:6)!
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His [spiritual] offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Prosperity and welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Light arises in the darkness for the upright, gracious, compassionate, and just [who are in right standing with God]. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. He will not be moved forever; the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord. His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries. He has distributed freely [he has given to the poor and needy]; his righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) endures forever; his horn shall be exalted in honor. 10 The wicked man will see it and be grieved and angered, he will gnash his teeth and disappear [in despair]; the desire of the wicked shall perish and come to nothing.

The Amplified Bible has a very accurate description of the true and complete meaning of the Hebrew word "blessed" here! Those "who are in right standing" in verse 4 refers to those who have received JESUS as Lord and Savior! Under the Old Covenant it referred to those who were looking forward to the coming Messiah. For us it refers to those Who believe in and on the Messiah Who has already come! He is APPEARING in the sky for the Church, soon and very soon, and then coming back to earth again, after the Tribulation of Revelation to rule and reign, on the earth, for 1000 years! These promises above belong to those who are eagerly awaiting His appearing! How very exciting are the times in which we live! Be encouraged, encourage yourself, and then encourage others! We are, of ALL people, MOST blessed! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Alive":

Shalom,

Psalm 111 is our Psalm reading for today in the Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan and I LOVE this Psalm!
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) I will praise and give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart in the council of the upright and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great, sought out by all those who have delight in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and full of loving compassion. He has given food and provision to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever and imprint it [on His mind]. He has declared and shown to His people the power of His works in giving them the heritage of the nations [of Canaan]. The works of His hands are [absolute] truth and justice [faithful and right]; and all His decrees and precepts are sure (fixed, established, and trustworthy). They stand fast and are established forever and ever and are done in [absolute] truth and uprightness. He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant to be forever; holy is His name, inspiring awe, reverence, and godly fear. 10 The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever.

When you are going THROUGH a tough time (DON'T stop there, go through to VICTORY!), a test, temptation or trial, remember this
Psalm, or whatever YOUR choice of Scriptures that remind you that God is GOOD (Psalm 107:1), all the time, that He only desires GOOD for us (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP), that He has the answer for every situation, that He ALWAYS provides a way to victory (1 Corinthians 10:13) and that God is ALWAYS for you (Romans 8:31)! Once you read and meditate on this Psalm, or your choice, then go through it again DECLARING, sometimes SHOUTING, what this Word says about YOU! Faith will grow strong, the enemy will flee, taking doubt and unbelief with him, and the path to total victory will be much, much clearer! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "You Are More":

Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For his Highest" by Oswald Chambers contains such TRUTH!

For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen. — 2 Corinthians 1:20
Jesus told the parable of the talents recorded in Matthew 25 as a warning that it is possible for us to misjudge our capacity. This parable has not to do with natural gifts, but with the Pentecostal gift of the Holy Ghost. We must not measure our spiritual capacity by education or by intellect; our capacity in spiritual things is measured by the promises of God. If we get less than God wants us to have, before long we will slander Him as the servant slandered his master: “You expect more than You give me power to do; You demand too much of me, I cannot stand true to You where I am placed.” When it is a question of God’s Almighty Spirit, never say “I can’t.” Never let the limitation of natural ability come in. If we have received the Holy Spirit, God expects the work of the Holy Spirit to be manifested in us.

The servant justified himself in everything he did and condemned his lord on every point — “Your demand is out of all proportion to what you give.” Have we been slandering God by daring to worry when He has said: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”? Worrying means exactly what this servant implied — “I know You mean to leave me in the lurch.” The person who is lazy naturally is always captious — “I haven’t had a decent chance,” and the one who is lazy spiritually is captious with God. Lazy people always strike out on an independent line.

Never forget that our capacity in spiritual matters is measured by the promises of God. Is God able to fulfil His promises? Our answer depends on whether we have received the Holy Spirit.

The TRUTH that I have established in my own life is this: God's Word is TRUTH! God is 100% ABLE to do what He has promised to do! He is also AT LEAST 100% WILLING to do so! He GAVE His SON! What more could I ask for proof that God means every promise? So, when I fail to stand on those promises, the problem is NEVER God! He does NOT pick and choose who will have the manifestation of the promises and who will not. I DO THAT! By MY belief (faith Romans 8:17) or our unbelief (lack of faith because I neglect the Word that BRINGS faith)! If YOU will establish this solidly in your heart, you will never again be moved by the lies, tricks, schemes, strategies and other shenanigans of the enemy try to steal the Word and faith from you! Get into the Word and get the Word IN YOU! Then: NEVER GIVE UP & NEVER GIVE IN! NEVER!!! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Always Will":

Shalom,

I LOVE today's "Grace Inspirations" by Joseph Prince!
DON’T LOOK INSIDE THE ARK

1 John 2:2
And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

In the movie, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, the people who tried to look inside the ark were struck dead. What was inside the ark that brought judgment to those who looked into it?

The Bible tells us that the ark held the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, the pot of manna and Aaron’s rod. (Hebrews 9:4) These items were tokens of man’s rebellion. The two tablets of the Ten Commandments represented man’s rejection of God’s standards. The manna represented man’s rejection of God’s provision, and Aaron’s rod, man’s rejection of God’s appointed priesthood.

God did not want to look at these tokens of rebellion. He wanted to be merciful to His people, so He instructed them to place the items in the ark and to cover the ark with its mercy seat, which is also the place where the blood of the animal sacrifices was sprinkled.

Once a year on the Day of Atonement, the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies to sprinkle on the mercy seat the blood of the animal that had been sacrificed. The two cherubim on the mercy seat stood as guardians of God’s righteousness and holiness.

Representing God’s eyes too, they looked at the blood on the mercy seat. As long as the blood was there, the entire nation of Israel was forgiven. God’s judgment passed over them and they were blessed for another year. (Leviticus 16)

Today, the blood sprinkled on the mercy seat is not the blood of bulls and goats, but the precious, eternal blood of the Son of God! (Hebrews 9:12) Jesus is our “mercy seat” for “He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world”. The word “propitiation” in the original Greek text is the same word as “mercy seat”. (Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:5)

Beloved, God does not see your sins and count them against you because He sees His Son’s blood. He sees His Son’s perfect work that has more than satisfied Him. God does not want you to see your sins either. He does not want you to look inside the ark by focusing on your sins. He wants you to focus on Christ and His finished work!

Thought For The Day

Don’t focus on your sins. Focus on Christ and His finished work.

AMEN!!! Instead of concentrating on our mistakes and weaknesses, let's get ourselves busy doing the things that HE has called us to do! If you don't yet have your own vision from God for your life, get busy helping with the vision that He has given to your Pastor! Your Pastor will be blessed, your church will benefit, God will be well pleased and YOU will be abundantly blessed! Blessed beyond measure!!! Amen! Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers speaks of something that I have been thinking about a lot lately! Here is a portion of it:

Readiness

God called unto him…and he said, Here am I. — Exodus 3:4

When God speaks, many of us are like men in a fog, we give no answer. Moses’ reply revealed that he was somewhere. Readiness means a right relationship to God and a knowledge of where we are at present. .....

Readiness for God means that we are ready to do the tiniest little thing or the great big thing, it makes no difference. We have no choice in what we want to do, whatever God’s programme may be we are there, ready. When any duty presents itself we hear God’s voice as Our Lord heard His Father’s voice, and we are ready for it with all the alertness of our love for Him. Jesus Christ expects to do with us as His Father did with Him. He can put us where He likes, in pleasant duties or in mean* duties, because the union is that of the Father and Himself. “That they may be one, even as We are one.”

Be ready for the sudden surprise visits of God. A ready person never needs to get ready. Think of the time we waste trying to get ready when God has called! The burning bush is a symbol of everything that surrounds the ready soul, it is ablaze with the presence of God.

*mean: as used here, something or someone ordinary, common, low, or ignoble, rather than cruel or spiteful.

AMEN! Let's never forget that OUR God IS GOD! Set your heart and mind to make yourself ready and available to HIM form whatever task that He has in mind for us today! AMEN! Here is Hillsong United with "GO"! (After gives you the assignment, then get up and GO!!!)

Shalom,

Today's "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin answers the question many of us have been asked: "If God is so good, why do bad things keep happening"?

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence" (Colossians 1:18).

Here's where we believers have missed it! We've recognized that Jesus is the Head of the Church, and we've exalted Him to His position of Power, all right. But we've failed to see that the Head is wholly dependent upon its body for carrying out its plans.

We've failed to see that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We've failed to see that Jesus has authority over Satan's power. If this authority is ever exercised, it will have to be exercised through the Body.

We've been so sure that we couldn't do anything, that we've left everything up to Christ the Head of the Church - and the Head is powerless without the Body.

Take your own physical head as an example. It is powerless to carry out any of its plans without the cooperation of the body. Your head might see a songbook on a rack in front of you, but unless your body cooperates, your head will never be able to sing from that book.

The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. And we the Body of Christ have the same authority the Head has!

Confession: The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. I am a member of the Body, and I will exercise my authority!

We ARE the Body of Christ! He, the Head, is seated in Heaven at the right hand of the Father! What is He doing? He is interceding for US (Romans 8:34) and He is waiting for His enemies to be MADE His footstool (Hebrews 10:13)! He has given US the authority to use HIS Name to affect the lives of the people that we come in contact with! He has already give us His will (John 10:10; 3 John 2  AMP) and He expects us to walk in it! We must STOP being lazy about getting to know HIM intimately. When we do, we will learn more and more of what belongs to us as a members of His body and of the FAMILY of GOD! THEN will be able to use HIS authority to bring His will and His word to come to pass! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Children of the Light":

Shalom,

Today I want to share a portion of "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers.

While ye have light, believe in the light. — John 12:36

We all have moments when we feel better than our best, and we say — “I feel fit for anything; if only I could be like this always!” We are not meant to be. Those moments are moments of insight which we have to live up to when we do not feel like it. Many of us are no good for this workaday world when there is no high hour. We must bring our commonplace life up to the standard revealed in the high hour.

Never allow a feeling which was stirred in you in the high hour to evaporate. Don’t put your mental feet on the mantelpiece and say — “What a marvellous state of mind to be in!” Act immediately, do something, if only because you would rather not do it. If in a prayer meeting God has shown you something to do, don’t say — “I’ll do it”; do it! Take yourself by the scruff of the neck and shake off your incarnate laziness. Laziness is always seen in cravings for the high hour; we talk about working up to a time on the mount. We have to learn to live in the grey day according to what we saw on the mount.

Don’t cave in because you have been baffled once, get at it again. Burn your bridges behind you, and stand committed to God by your own act. Never revise your decisions, but see that you make your decisions in the light of the high hour.

What he is saying here is that many times we hear from God under the Anointing in a service and we commit to put what we hear into practice, but then, after the excitement of the service, when we return to our everyday life, we forget what the Lord has said. How do we stop that from happening? Don't SAY "I will", JUST DO IT! Put it into practice as soon as possible! You may not be able to fully act on the instruction immediately, but by doing what you CAN do, you will put yourself in position to NOT forget! Take notes during every service and write down what Holy Spirit is telling you, because He WILL take what is being taught and give you specific ways to carry it out in your own individual, unique life! When God speaks, everything He says is of VITAL importance! Make it so yourself! You will see some drastic changes for the GOOD! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Closer":

Shalom,

Today's "From Faith To Faith" by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland is another vital teaching for those who desire to walk in the fullness of all that god has for you!

Use God's MO

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:3

God uses words to create. He used His Word to “frame” the worlds. Just look in the first chapter of Genesis and count how many times you see the phrase, “And God said.” “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.... And God said, Let there be a firmament.... And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together.... And God said, Let the earth bring forth...” (verses 3, 6, 9, 11).

God doesn’t do anything without saying it first. That’s His MO, His mode of operation. And, if you’re smart, you’ll use that mode of operation too. You’ll take His words and speak them out until they take on form and substance and become a reality in your life.

“Well, Brother Copeland, I tried that and it didn’t work. I said, ‘By His stripes I’m healed’ four times and nothing happened.”

Big deal. God started saying that Jesus was coming in the Garden of Eden. He said it again in Exodus. He said it again in Numbers and Deuteronomy. He said it in Isaiah and the other prophets. He said it all through the Old Testament, over and over again.

Then after about 4,000 years, the book of John tells us, “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...” (1:14).

So if you’ve said you’re healed four times and nothing’s happened, don’t worry about it. Just keep saying it! You might think it’s taking a long time to manifest, but I’ll guarantee you, it won’t take 7,000 years.

Do you want to operate in God’s power? Then use His MO. Speak out His words and let them frame a life full of blessing for you!

AMEN! Over the years we have had people try to argue with us concerning healing, prosperity and our God-given authority over the enemy and his cohorts. I refuse to argue with anyone about the Word of God. If someone is not ready to receive Wisdom, no amount of arguing will change that! These things are NOT up for debate! If God's Word says it, then it is TRUTH! If people are not ready to receive, then simply continue to pray for them. Prayer in the Spirit is the MOST effective, unless and until Holy Spirit reveals a known thing to pray for! When they are ready to receive, they WILL come back and ask, THEN you can minister to them effectively! AMEN! In the meantime, continue to tell the world about JESUS! Shaloom,

Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" for today is totally appropriate for "Good Friday"!

Firstborn From the Dead

Who his dear Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
(Colossians 1:15-20)

Although He is coequal with the Father, the eternal Son of God accepted a subordinate place and undertook the task of reconciling the world to God through the blood of His Cross.

For this purpose, Jesus yielded Himself to death (Matthew 27:50). When Jesus was made to be sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), He was turned over by God to spiritual death, which is separation from God. This occurred when that heart-breaking cry fell from Jesus' lips, "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?"

Jesus' spirit was delivered up for our offenses, that He might be raised for our justification (Romans 4:25). It was the wisdom of the Father that yielded Jesus, the Righteous One, to death, that our debt might be paid, and Jesus might become the Firstborn from the dead!

Confession: Thank You, Jesus, for dying for my sins. Thank You, Jesus, that You paid my debt so that I might be free!

Amen! Let's keep ourselves continually grateful and thankful for Who He is and for what HE has done in our lives! Celebrate JESUS! NO ONE loves you like JESUS does! Amen! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Love So Great":

Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers has a very important message for us! Here is the portion containing this message!

Death hath no more dominion over Him…in that He liveth, He liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God. — Romans 6:9-11
Co-Eternal Life. Eternal life was the life which Jesus Christ exhibited on the human plane, and it is the same life, not a copy of it, which is manifested in our mortal flesh when we are born of God. Eternal life is not a gift from God, eternal life is the gift of God. .....

Ye shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost — not power as a gift from the Holy Ghost; the power is the Holy Ghost, not something which He imparts. The life that was in Jesus is made ours by means of His Cross when once we make the decision to be identified with Him. ......

Jesus came to give us endless supplies of life: “that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Eternal Life has nothing to do with Time, it is the life which Jesus lived when He was down here. The only source of Life is the Lord Jesus Christ.

The weakest saint can experience the power of the Deity of the Son of God if once he is willing to “let go.” Any strand of our own energy will blur the life of Jesus. We have to keep letting go, and slowly and surely the great full life of God will invade us in every part, and men will take knowledge of us that we have been with Jesus.

What I hope that you see from this is that when we receive JESUS as Lord and personal Savior, we are not receiving SOMETHING, but SOMEONE! When we receive the PERSON of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, we are receiving all that He IS! That's why we must FIRST OF ALL love HIM with everything that is within us! When you fellowship with Him, you are not speaking into Heaven, but to the One Who lives in YOU! If you will meditate on these Truths, you will be more aware of His presence and you will NEVER feel distant from Him again! He will NEVER leave you or forsake you! If it seems to be so, just get yourself right back into fellowship with Him. The best way to do that is through praise and worship, praying in the Spirit and meditating the Word of God. Here is a song that should help with that! Hillsong Worship with "What A Beautiful Name":
