I dreamed another man and I were on some kind of a parade ground. It was like a football field. There were stands on either side. As we walked along talking, suddenly the man looked back and yelled, “Look!” and he started running. I turned and saw that two ferocious lions were almost upon me. I ran about two steps. Then I hollered to the other man, “You’ll never make it! You can’t outrun them!” I stopped still, turned around, and faced them. I was trembling. My flesh was covered with goose pimples. into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.'

This verse reveals one of God's cardinal laws that will work
in the spiritual realm, as well as the physical world. Just as we 'give' seed
into the ground to receive back multiple seeds, so it is with everything we
give. Whether it's money, possessions, an emotion such as love or hate,
prayers, or our time, we will reap a harvest of whatever we give. We reap
exactly what we sow and proportional to the same measure that we give (Galations 6:7-8).

'He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he
which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully' (2 Corinthians 9:6). This law
works on positive or negative things that we sow.

Although this is an unchangeable law of God, it can be
overcome by a greater law in much the same way that we can escape the law of
gravity by using the greater laws of thrust and lift. The negative things we
have given don't have to come back to us if we apply the greater law of
forgiveness (1 John 1:9). Likewise, the good things we have sown can be voided
if we don't continue in well doing (Galatians 6:9).

God is our source, but God uses people. If we pray for
finances, God is not going to make counterfeit currency and put it into your
wallet. He will use people to get the money to you. So, it is not always as
simple as praying for money and receiving it the next minute. We need to
believe the Lord hears and answers our prayers, and then pray for the people
He's going to use to deliver the answer. This could mean any number of people
such as our employer and the people who buy our goods. Ultimately God is your
source, trust Him.

AMEN! To-day the separation is more of a mental and moral separation from the way that those who are dearest to us look at things, that is, if they have not a personal relationship with God. Jesus Christ emphasized this (see Luke 14:26).

Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One Who is leading. It is a life of faith, not of intellect and reason, but a life of knowing Who makes us “go.” The root of faith is the knowledge of a Person, and one of the biggest snares is the idea that God is sure to lead us to success.

The final stage in the life of faith is attainment of character. There are many passing transfigurations of character; when we pray we feel the blessing of God enwrapping us and for the time being we are changed, then we get back to the ordinary days and ways and the glory vanishes. The life of faith is not a life of mounting up with wings, but a life of walking and not fainting. It is not a question of sanctification; but of something infinitely further on than sanctification, of faith that has been tried and proved and has stood the test. You've practiced walking in the spirit and renewing your mind by the Word of God until even your flesh habitually goes God's way instead of the world's way.

Stop and think for a moment. Aren't there some things your old flesh used to pressure you to do before you made Jesus Lord of your life that you don't even want to do anymore?

There are for me. For example, I used to smoke tobacco, and I felt sorry for all those Christians who couldn't. But you know what? Now that I'm a believer, I have no desire for tobacco anymore. It is not even part of my thoughts, much less my lifestyle.

That's the kind of thing that happens as you feed and renew your mind on the Word of God. It doesn't necessarily happen quickly or easily. Your flesh may fight and buck for a while because it's been trained to go the way of the world so long. But if you stick with the Word and keep growing, your flesh can develop the habit of righteousness just like it developed the habit of unrighteousness.

Don't starve your spirit by trying to get by on just a little spiritual milk now and then. Develop the habit of feeding on the solid food of the Word every day and find out what real maturity is all about.
AMEN! develop a hunger and thirst for the Word of God! And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. . . . He told me to get pencil and paper and to write down 1, 2, 3, 4. Then He said, “If anyone, everywhere, will take these four steps, or put these four principles into operation, they will always receive whatever they want from Me, or from God the Father.”

The steps Jesus gave me are simple. I might as well go ahead and die.’ And that would have been what she received. But she made a positive statement — and it came to pass.”

What this woman said was her faith speaking.

Confession: I have what I say. One of them is seen here in verses 1-8:
1 And when the Sabbath was past [that is, after the sun had set], Mary Magdalene, and Mary [the mother] of James, and Salome purchased sweet-smelling spices, so that they might go and anoint [Jesus’ body].
2 And very early on the first day of the week they came to the tomb; [by then] the sun had risen.
3 And they said to one another, Who will roll back the stone for us out of [the groove across the floor at] the door of the tomb?
4 And when they looked up, they [distinctly] saw that the stone was already rolled back, for it was very large.
5 And going into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting [there] on the right [side], clothed in a [long, stately, sweeping] robe of white, and they were utterly amazed and struck with terror.
6 And he said to them, Do not be amazed and terrified; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
7 But be going; tell the disciples and Peter, He goes before you into Galilee; you will see Him there, [just] as He told you.
8 Then they went out [and] fled from the tomb, for trembling and bewilderment and consternation had seized them. And they said nothing about it to anyone, for they were held by alarm and fear.
Notice the reaction of the women who went after the Sabbath to anoint the body of Jesus when they saw the angel! The stone was rolled away, Jesus was not there, and the angel told them the TRUTH, but they did not believe out of fear! Then we see this in verses 9-14:
9 Now Jesus, having risen [from death] early on the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had driven out seven demons.
10 She went and reported it to those who had been with Him, as they grieved and wept.
11 And when they heard that He was alive and that she had seen Him, they did not believe it.
12 After this, He appeared in a different form to two of them as they were walking [along the way] into the country.
13 And they returned [to Jerusalem] and told the others, but they did not believe them either.
14 Afterward He appeared to the Eleven [apostles themselves] as they reclined at table; and He reproved and reproached them for their unbelief (their lack of faith) and their hardness of heart, because they had refused to believe those who had seen Him and looked at Him attentively after He had risen [from death].
Mary believed when she saw JESUS! Then she reported to the rest and they did not believe her or the two who had met Jesus on the road! They did not believe until they SAW HIM! So my question is, why is Thomas always singled out as 'Doubting Thomas' when none of them believed until they SAW? I think he deserves and apology when we all see him one day! Then my favorite verses are 19-20:
19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).
JESUS will do the same for us when WE share the Word! HE will confirm what WE speak! AMEN! is that we may be one with Jesus Christ. After sanctification the discipline of
our spiritual life is along this line. If God gives a clear and emphatic
realisation to your soul of what He wants, do not try to keep yourself in that
relationship by any particular method, but live a natural life of absolute
dependence on Jesus Christ. Never try to live the life with God on any other

It involves replacing your wrong beliefs with right beliefs based on God’s Word.

When Jesus saw the man with the withered hand, He didn’t just see the withered hand, He saw that there was more than enough grace for that hand to be made completely whole. Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” The man did as told, and his hand was completely restored and made as whole as his other hand (Mark 3:1–5).

Now, you don’t say “stretch out your hand” to someone whose hand is obviously shriveled and disabled unless you see differently. Jesus sees differently from you and me.

That’s why we need to go back to God’s Word and learn to see what He sees. When Jesus sees a disease, a lack, or someone trapped in fear, guilt, addiction, and sin, He doesn’t just see the problem. He sees God’s healing, grace, and power superabounding in that area of weakness.

You too can change what you believe by seeing beyond what your natural eyes see. Press in to see what God sees. In your very area of lack, struggle, or challenge, see His superabounding grace all around your current situation.

Jesus says to you today, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Give all your weaknesses, failings, and mistakes to the Lord Jesus and see Him transform your weaknesses into strengths.

What you believe is powerful, so are you going by what you see or what God sees?

You may not be able to stop negative thoughts from passing through your mind or unhealthy emotions such as fear gripping your heart but you can definitely anchor your thoughts and emotions on the unshakable Word of God. You can certainly ensure that you believe right regarding what God says about you in His Word, which contains His precious promises to you.

The more you learn and believe right about His love and what His Word says about your situation and your life, the more your thoughts will line up with His thoughts about you. You’ll begin to develop thoughts of peace and not of evil, thoughts of hope and a bright future (Jeremiah 29:11). And you’ll be transformed!
AMEN! DARE to BELIEVE God and His Word! Your LIFE and PEACE depend on it!
