Shalom,

Our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today has some powerful verses for closing out the old year and flying powerfully into the new! I hope that you will read all of Psalm 119 before tomorrow, rejoicing in the WORD of the LIVING GOD and all the TRUTH that you will learn as you continue throughout the new year! Also, Philippians 4:4 gives us this great advice!

4 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!

This will keep us in peace and joy as we walk victoriously through every situation! Then verses 6-8 contniue to give us keys for success!

6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. 7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

LIVE these verses, counting fully on the provisions found in verses 13 and 19!

13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. 19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

AMEN! Taste and see how wonderful and powerful the Word of God truly is! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

Shalom,

Today I am going to share one of my favorite portions of Scripture from Philippians 3!

7 But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ’s sake. 8 Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One), 9 And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith. 10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] 11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. 12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own. 13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

HALLELUJAH! This ONE THING I do! I PRESS ON! I hope that YOU will NEVER stop 'pressing on' to KNOW HIM and to become more LIKE HIM! THAT is the KEY to fulfilling our God-given and God ordained ministry, calling and anointing! Toe be able to hear: WELL DONE! Here is Hillsong with "One Thing":

Shalom,

Today I want to share one of my favorite songs with you, but first we're going to look at Psalm 150:

1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the heavens of His power!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to the abundance of His greatness!
3 Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with tambourine and [single or group] dance; praise Him with stringed and wind instruments or flutes!
5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

We should be living our lives as a praise to the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God! I especially LOVE verse 6! Our every breath should be filled with His praises! Which leads us to my favorite song! Hillsong Worship with "Every Breath":

Shalom,

Today I want to share againfrom Joseph Prince's daily "Grace Inspirations" devotional!

His Perfect Will, His Final Word

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9–10

I want to share with you a precious testimony from Caleb, a father in Texas who wrote to my team:

My youngest son was diagnosed with scoliosis when his X-ray showed a seventeen-degree curve in his spine. Upon receiving the news, fear, doubt, anger, sadness, worry, and condemnation began to set in our hearts. We were also concerned about potential disabilities and surgeries for our son in the future.

As a pastor, I found myself struggling with my Christian beliefs. Nevertheless, I could feel the Lord’s loving embrace and peace as I prayed for my son. My church also prayed for him, and we believed the Lord could, and would, heal him.

The doctor referred him to a children’s hospital and arranged for an appointment. By faith, we decided to go for the appointment to confirm the healing had already begun. Even though doubt, condemnation, and fear crept into our hearts, we kept declaring the finished work of the cross and we kept partaking of the holy Communion.

During the appointment, the doctor examined my son and took more X-rays. Then she said, “I have good news for you!” and showed us the X-rays that displayed no trace of scoliosis. Our son’s spine had straightened out. The Lord had healed him! There is victory and power in the cross indeed!

We now distribute a copy of Pastor Prince’s book The Power of Right Believing to every new member in our church. We believe miracles happen as we fill ourselves with the good news of the gospel.

I really felt for Caleb when he described the feelings he went through on hearing his son was diagnosed with a condition that could potentially lead to lifelong disability. Every loving parent wants their child to be well and to enjoy a quality life, and that’s also our heavenly Father’s heart and will toward us.

Despite his fears and uncertainties, Caleb did the best thing he could for his son. He kept declaring the finished work of the cross, and he kept partaking of the holy Communion. And just like that, with nothing spectacular happening, no voice booming out from heaven, and no earth-shaking demonstration of power, his son was healed.

Are you also concerned about a health issue today? I pray that as you do what Caleb did, you will also see God’s supernatural healing manifest for you!

AMEN! Healing belongs to us as children of the Most High God, but it takes diligence to fight for it! Nevery quit! Never give up! Never give in! God's plans are ALWAYS the RIGHT ones! Here is Hillsong with "Say The Word":

Shalom,

There are a few verses that really stand out to me today in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! First of all we have Proverbs 28:12:

12 When the [uncompromisingly] righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration; but when the wicked rise [to power], men hide themselves.

And then we have verse 14:

14 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.

We see the definite contrast between doing things God's way, according to HIS WORD, and doing things our own way! ALWAYS choose God's way! You will never regret that decision! In Ephesians 6:8 we have this powerful promise!

8 Knowing that for whatever good anyone does, he will receive his reward from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.

AMEN! We CANNOT, not EVER, out give GOD! Sow good seeds in the good soil of your own heart and watch what GOD can do with that! Here is Hillsong with "Say The Word":

Shalom,

I really love today's "Faith To Faith" devotional by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland!

Know Him as Daddy

For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! Romans 8:15, The Amplified Bible

One night after a worship service a friend of mine and I stepped outside and were suddenly awed by the beauty around us. It was one of those crisp, clear winter nights when the brilliance of the moon and stars nearly takes your breath away. I said to my friend, "Tommy, will you look at that!" Then he looked up with one of those Holy Ghost whole-face smiles and with a voice full of tenderness said, "My Daddy made that!"

"My Daddy...." I'll never forget the way he said that.

Some people might think he shouldn't have been talking in such familiar terms about God, but they'd be wrong. It's scriptural to talk that way about Him. The Aramaic word for father—Abba—is used several times in the New Testament. The most accurate translation for that word in English is "Daddy." It's a word that signifies closeness. It speaks of a relationship that's been developed through time spent together.

"Father" is one thing. "Daddy" is another.

Growing up, my father was sometimes my "Father" and sometimes my "Daddy." When we were out duck hunting, he was "Daddy." When he gave commands he meant to be obeyed instantly, he was "Father."

God is like that too. He's your Father and He's your Daddy. There are times you'll be very serious and down to business with one another. Other times you'll be more lighthearted. But either way, once you fellowship with Him enough to get to know Him, I guarantee, you'll want to be close to Him all the time.

AMEN! I never had a "Daddy" relationship with the Dad I grew up with. I had to learn what a "Daddy" would look like, sound like and act like! I have learned from Holy Spirit just what that means and I have come to know HIM as my DADDy, too! What a wonderful revelation! We are SO loved! There IS no greater DADDY, than HIM! I want to share Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" devotional again today. This is so appropriate!

Love Sent His Son To Save

. . . For that which is conceived in her
is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son,
and thou shalt call his name JESUS:
for he shall save his people from their sins.

For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him
might be saved.

Shalom,

Today I want to share againfrom Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" devotional! He covers this day excellently!

His Glory

And the Word became flesh. And pitched his tent among us, And we gazed upon his glory, — A glory . . . Full of favour and truth. — JOHN 1:14 (Rotherham)

I love Rotherham’s translation of John 1:14 — it is so beautiful.

We’ve tended to think of Christ’s coming to the earth as a man only in terms of His self-denial in leaving glory, or else in terms of His suffering on this earth. But I believe it was a joy to Christ, who so loved man and so desired man’s fellowship, to “pitch His tent” among us so that He might give to alienated man — who had never known his Creator— a true conception of His Heavenly Father.

It was good tidings of great joy which the angel proclaimed to the shepherds — and to all people everywhere. Man, separated from God for four thousand years, could now gaze upon God’s glory, could now see God, could now know God as He is, and could now be reunited with Him!

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. — LUKE 2:10,11

The Word has become flesh!

Confession: Like the multitude of the heavenly host, I, too, am praising God. Praise God for sending GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY! Praise God for sending a SAVIOR! Praise God for CHRIST THE LORD! Praise God for allowing us to gaze upon HIS GLORY!

AMEN! Have a wonderful Christmas celebration, celebrating the GREATEST GIFT EVER GIVEN! JESUS! Here is Hillsong with "We Have A Saviour":

I really love today's "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin! It is so appropriate for Christmas!

Incarnate Revelator

Jesus saith unto him [Philip] . . . he that hath seen me hath seen the Father . . . . — JOHN 14:9

Man born into a world ruled by Satan did not by nature know his Creator. Since Adam’s sin — when man died spiritually — God and man had been spiritually separated.

Man desperately needed an Incarnation. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ — God manifested in the flesh — gave to the world the true knowledge of the nature of God.

Spiritually dead men couldn’t know the nature of the Creator without a revelation from Him. God had been conceived as weird, cruel, grotesque, immoral, aloof, or perhaps, an impersonal energy, but He was never thought of as a God of love — a loving Heavenly Father.

“What’s he really like?” people will inquire about some movie star, TV personality, politician, etc. And sometimes those close to that celebrity will attempt in an interview to tell what he is really like.

“What’s God really like?” people want to know.

Friends, if you want to know what God is really like — just look at Jesus!

Confession: I have seen Jesus in the revelation of God’s Word. Therefore, I have seen the Father. I know what the Father is like. He’s just like Jesus! He’s a God of love. He’s a Father God. And because of Jesus, He’s my very own Father. I am His very own child. I’m so thankful for this great plan of redemption which included revealing my Father to the world.

AMEN! There IS no greater LOVE than GOD's love for US! I hope that this coming year will find you knowing JESUS more than ever before! Here is Hillsong with "Know You Will":

Shalom,

Today I want to share two portions of Scripture from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan in Ephesians 1! First verses 4-9:

4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. 5 For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]— 6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, 8 Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), 9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him,

Our God LOVES us with a never ending LOVE! And HE has already blessed US abundantly! Just BELIEVE and RECEIVE! JESUS! And now I have a prayer for you from verses 17-23:

17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, 20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. 22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], 23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

AMEN! THIS is prayer acoording to God's WORD! Then we KNOW that He hears us and we HAVE those things that we desired of Him! Never give up! Here is Hillsong a favorite Christmas song called: "Born is the King!":

Today I want to share from our Spoken Word Church website devotional because it is SO good!

Generate Energy

God energizes. In Genesis, He created, moved, spoke, divided and called. You are God's offspring. You were created for movement. Your tongue speaks. Your eyes see. Your ears hear. Your hands grasp. Your feet walk. Even your mind creates thoughts, each containing a different measure of energy. You are a living current, carrying others into your future. Use your life today to excite others about the God you serve and the future made possible through a committment to Jesus Christ.

"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." (Acts 17:28)

We have the priceless privilege of representing JESUS in this earth! BE the LIGHT in your world so that others can come to know HIM, too! Here is Hillsong UNITED with an older song that it still one of my favorites!  " Tell The World":

 Shalom,

I have been loving going through Proverbs again in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! They are so full of Wisdom for every day life! Most compare the righteous and the unrighteous! Those who do things God's way, and in obedience to His Word, and those who do not! There is a very big difference to the outcomes of life in these two cases! Study Proverbs for yourself and see! Here are a couple of my favorites from today's Proverbs 21!

5 The thoughts of the [steadily] diligent tend only to plenteousness, but everyone who is impatient and hasty hastens only to want.

20 There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and wastes it. 21 He who earnestly seeks after and craves righteousness, mercy, and loving-kindness will find life in addition to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) and honor.

23 He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from troubles.

30 There is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against the Lord.

I hope that YOU will take these promises and lessons and put them into practice in your life! Then YOU can walk in THE BLESSING and others will see and follow JESUS because of YOU! Here is Hillsong with "That's The Power":

Shalom in Him!

Shalom,

Today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan has so many great verses! Here are a few of my favorites!

From Proverbs 19:

8 He who gains Wisdom loves his own life; he who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good.

17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and that which he has given He will repay to him.

20 Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come. 21 Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.

23 The reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it rests satisfied; he cannot be visited with [actual] evil.

From Galatians 3:

6 Thus Abraham believed in and adhered to and trusted in and relied on God, and it was reckoned and placed to his account and credited as righteousness (as conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action). 7 Know and understand that it is [really] the people [who live] by faith who are [the true] sons of Abraham.

26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. 27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ. 28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

From Esther 4:

14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?

I pray that YOU will make daily study and meditation in the Word of God your top priority! Let's end 2021 and begin 2022 with this emphasis and see our God move in our lives as never before! HALLELUJAH! Here is Hillsong with one of my favorite Christmas songs! "Born Is The King":

It’s Christmas time
Born unto us this day a Savior
Gifted from heaven to a manger
The hope of the world
A light for all mankind
All of the earth rejoice
It's Christmas time
So lift up your voice and sing out His praise
It's Christmas
Born is the King, rejoice in the day
It's Christmas
Make a joyful sound
It's Christmas
Let His praise resound
It's Christmas
Good will to all the earth
And peace divine
All of the earth rejoice
It's Christmas time
It's Christmas time
So lift up your voice and sing out His praise
It's Christmas
Born is the King, rejoice in the day
It's Christmas
Make a joyful sound
It's Christmas
Let His praise resound
It's Christmas
So lift up your voice and sing out His praise
It's Christmas
Born is the King, rejoice in the day
It's Christmas
Make a joyful sound
It's Christmas
Let His praise resound
It's Christmas
So lift up your voice and sing out His praise
It's Christmas
Born is the King, rejoice in the day
It's Christmas
Make a joyful sound
It's Christmas
Let His praise resound
It's Christmas
It's Christmas

Shalom,

Today I want to share another "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin!

Humility

Who [Christ Jesus], being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. — PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8

Christ has always existed in the form of God. But He emptied Himself and took the form of a bond servant, being made in the likeness of men. This suggests a distinct operation of God totally different from natural generation: A miracle. First, God took Christ from the Godhead in Heaven — and then He placed Christ in the womb of a virgin to be united with flesh in a unique conception.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. — HEBREWS 10:5

God prepared a body — a special body — for this Being called the Son of God. In the Incarnation, Christ became a man!

Confession: Thank You, Jesus, for emptying Yourself and being made in the likeness of men. It was our only hope. Thank You for humbling Yourself and becoming obedient unto death; yes, even the death of the cross. And thank You, Father, for highly exalting Him, and for giving to Him the Name which is above every name. At that Name my knee does bow, and my tongue does confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-10).

AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "We Have A Savior":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this excellent teaching from Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost For His Highest":

Wrestling Before God

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God…praying always… — Ephesians 6:13,18

You have to wrestle against the things that prevent you from getting to God, and you wrestle in prayer for other souls; but never say that you wrestle with God in prayer, it is scripturally untrue. If you do wrestle with God, you will be crippled all the rest of your life. If, when God comes in some way you do not want, you take hold of Him as Jacob did and wrestle with Him, you compel Him to put you out of joint. Don’t be a hirpler* in God’s ways, but be one who wrestles before God with things, becoming more than conqueror through Him. Wrestling before God tells in His Kingdom. If you ask me to pray for you and I am not complete in Christ, I may pray but it avails nothing; but if I am complete in Christ my prayer prevails all the time. Prayer is only effective when there is completeness — “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God.”

Always distinguish between God’s order and His permissive will, i.e., His providential purpose towards us. God’s order is unchangeable; His permissive will is that with which we must wrestle before Him. It is our reaction to the permissive will of God that enables us to get at His order. “All things work together for good to them that love God” — to those who remain true to God’s order, to His calling in Christ Jesus. God’s permissive will is the means whereby His sons and daughters are to be manifested. We are not to be like jelly-fish saying — “It’s the Lord’s will.” We have not to put up a fight before God, not to wrestle with God, but to wrestle before God with things. Beware of squatting lazily before God instead of putting up a glorious fight so that you may lay hold of His strength.

*hirpler: one who walks with a limp or hobble.

AMEN! Remember that GOD is ALWAYS FOR us and NEVER against us! Everything He intructs us to do in His Word is for OUR benefit, and to keep us in position to continue to receive ALL that HE has planned and purposed us to walk in! Find out what belongs to YOU as a born again child of the Living God and refuse to accept anything less! HE is waiting on YOU! Here is Hillsong with "God Is Able":

Showcase Another's Opinion

One of the greatest gifts you will ever give anyone is the gift of recognition. Every husband, wife and child is authorized by the Creator to have a viewpoint and an opportunity to express it. Honor their right to be heard.

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." {Philippians 2:3}

When we give others the freedom to BE who JESUS has called, anointed and appointed them to be, we will find new freedom ourselves to do the same! Go out of your way to support and encourage other believers! It is seed well sown! Here are Hillsong Kids with "As The World Shakes":

Shalom,

I really love today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers!

The Great Life

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you.… — John 14:27

Let not your heart be troubled. — John 14:1

Whenever a thing becomes difficult in personal experience, we are in danger of blaming God, but it is we who are in the wrong, not God, there is some perversity somewhere that we will not let go. Immediately we do, everything becomes as clear as daylight. As long as we try to serve two ends, ourselves and God, there is perplexity. The attitude must be one of complete reliance on God. When once we get there, there is nothing easier than living the saintly life; difficulty comes in when we want to usurp the authority of the Holy Spirit for our own ends.

Whenever you obey God, His seal is always that of peace, the witness of an unfathomable peace, which is not natural, but the peace of Jesus. Whenever peace does not come, tarry till it does or find out the reason why it does not. If you are acting on an impulse, or from a sense of the heroic, the peace of Jesus will not witness; there is no simplicity or confidence in God, because the spirit of simplicity is born of the Holy Ghost, not of your decisions. Every decision brings a reaction of simplicity.

My questions come whenever I cease to obey. When I have obeyed God, the problems never come between me and God, they come as probes to keep the mind awake and amazed at the revelation of God. Any problem that comes between God and myself springs out of disobedience; any problem, and there are many, that is alongside me while I obey God, increases my ecstatic delight, because I know that my Father knows, and I am going to watch and see how He unravels this thing.

AMEN! What confidence it give to be in the will of God for our lives! TRUE prosperity and success is BEING where GOD wants us to be and DOING what GOD wants us to do! Let's make that our continual goal! To STAY in the center of HIS WILL for US! There IS no better and more blessed place to be! Here is Hillsong with "From The Inside Out":

Shalom,

Our Spoken Word Church website devotional is another vital one today!

Compliment Someone Today

A popular, but inaccurate, statement is that words are cheap. Nothing could be further from the truth. Words cause wars. Words settle wars. Words create the waves of emotions that control our world. Your words of kindness today could easily create the wave that carries someone to their dream.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." (Proverbs 18:21)

Our WORDS are SO important! John 15:7 tells us THIS:

7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. AMPC

The Passion Translation says it this way:

7 But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. TPT

Shalom,

We read Proverbs 13 in today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan and there are a few verses that really stand out to me! Verse 9:

9 The light of the [uncompromisingly] righteous [is within him—it grows brighter and] rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked [furnishes only a derived, temporary light and] shall be put out shortly.

Don't EVER envy the wicked because they DO have a sure and certain bad future UNLESS they repent and receive salvation! YOU, as a born again believer, have a sure and certain GLORIOUS future! Verses 13-14:

13 Whoever despises the word and counsel [of God] brings destruction upon himself, but he who [reverently] fears and respects the commandment [of God] is rewarded. 14 The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death.

Our God has already declared THE BLESSING on each and every one of HIS children who will HEAR and DO the Word of God! Find out what God's Word says about YOU, and then LIVE IT OUT! Here, to help you with that, is Hillsong Worship with a powerful song of commitment called "Resurrender":

Shalom,

Today's deovtional from our Spoken Word Church Website is a great one!

Everyone needs reassurance of their worth. Remind yourself throughout today that each person you meet has encountered waves of criticism, condemnation and inferiority. You can change this.

Your words of reassurance can be like water on their seeds of hope.

"The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned." (Isaiah 50:4)

AMEN! Ourm God has taught us how to BELIEVE and to RECEIVE! Now lets get consistent at DOING IT! Amen! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Our God":

Shalom,

Today I want to share THIS from Andrew Womack's devotional.

Honor Your Parents

John 19:26 'When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!'

Children are to honor their parents, even after they become adults. However, the command to obey is temporary (Galatians 4:1-2). Honor naturally leads to obedience if nothing is asked contrary to God's laws, but honor and obedience are not synonymous. The scriptures teach that when a child marries he is to leave his father and mother and cleave unto his mate (Genesis 2:24). Parental dominance that extends into marriage is the source of many divorces and much marital strife. Yet, a child is to honor his parents for all their life.

The definition of the word 'honor' means 'to esteem, respect', and the Greek word from which 'honor' is translated means 'to prize, i.e. to fix a valuation upon' (Strong). There are many applications of children honoring their parents. Certainly, one of the violations of this commandment today, is children esteeming and respecting the opinions of their peers above those of their parents. The idea that parents are out of date and therefore out of touch, is a devaluation of parents. Children should value the experience and wisdom of their parents more than their peers.

It says in Exodus 20:12 and Deuteronomy 5:16 that honoring your father and mother is the first commandment with a promise. This command is the first one of the Ten Commandments that gives a promise of blessing to those who obey it. The promised blessing is long life and things going well.

John is the only gospel writer to give us this account of Jesus' last ministry to His mother. Even in the face of His own extreme suffering, Jesus thought of His mother and honored her by making sure that she would be taken care of after His departure.

This is something that the Lord had to reveal to me as a correction in my life because I was not honoring my parents. When I received that correction and changed my thinking, and actions, to agree with God and His Word, I saw tremendous blessings begin to pour into my life! Obeying God's Word is VITAL for us to walk in favor and all that HE has planned for us to walk in! Make whatever adjustments are needful in your life and you, too, will be tremendously BLESSED! Crowned With Glory

When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established, What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands . . . . — PSALM 8:3-6 (Amplified)

God did not create man for death! Death, sin, sickness, hatred, revenge, and all such tragedies reflect conditions on earth that had no place in the original plan of the Creator. Man was created instead for joy, happiness, and peace!

Man was designed for eternal fellowship with God. He was created in God’s very image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27). He was created for joy, happiness, and peace. And he was created to give God pleasure (Revelation 4:11).

God gave man a place in His creation second only to Himself, with dominion as far reaching as the universe itself (Psalm 8:3-6; Genesis 1:26-28). Adam was the master of himself, of creation, and of Satan. Adam did not have to yield to sin — he had a choice.

Confession: I will do what I was designed to do; I will fellowship with God. I will give Him pleasure. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). So I will walk in faith. I will not be dominated by sin, sickness, fear, and doubt, or anything else that is of the devil. I choose to walk with God.

BELIEVE what the Word of God says about YOU! Now act on it and watch GOD bring it all to pass! Here is Hillsong with "Say The Word":

Shalom,

I really like today's deovtional from The Spoken Word Church website!

Look for a Problem to Solve

Everything God has made is a solution to a problem. Your worth and significance are determined by the kinds of problems you are solving for someone. Your significance is not your similarity to others. It is your difference. Find your point of difference. Solve a problem with it. Prosperity is inevitable.

"Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hands to do it." {Proverbs 3:27}

I LOVE this! Each and everyone of us has been so completely uniquely formed, gifted, anointed and appointed by Almighty God for such a time as THIS! HE has designed us for His own plans and purposes! Let's commit to step more fully into who HE has called us to be so that 2022 can be an excellent year, bringin glory to GOD! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Desert Song":

Long Life

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore. . . . With long life will I satisfy him . . . . — PSALM 91:14,16

“But, Brother Hagin,” someone said, “I knew a minister who was a wonderful man of God, and he died at age forty-two.”

That doesn’t mean I have to die young. I don’t know what that minister believed — but I know what I believe. And I know that the God who is more than enough said, “I will satisfy him with long life.”

Someone else will say, “That just means we’re going to live forever in Heaven.” No, even sinners are going to live forever. They’re going to live in one place, and we’re going to live in another. That scripture is referring to our enjoying long life here upon this earth.

A reading of Proverbs reveals that the Word of God says that doing certain things will lengthen your life, but doing certain other things will shorten your life. Ephesians 6:1-3 tells children to honor their parents, “That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” Peter quoted the Psalms assuring us that these promises belong to us (1 Peter 3:10; Ps. 34:12).

Our promised lifespan is seventy or eighty years (Ps. 90:10). But don’t compromise. Don’t settle for anything less. And believe God for all you can!

Confession: Because I have set my love upon God, El Shaddai will satisfy me with long life. Unless the Lord Jesus Christ returns before I die, I will live out my years in service to God. I will live and work together with God in carrying out His will upon the earth.

AMEN! Set your love on JESUS first and all GOOD things will be added to you! Learn what belong to YOU as a blood covenant partner with the One True GOD! Here is Hillsong  with "Say The Word":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "From Faith To Faith" devotional.

Your Children Released From Captivity

Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they [your children] shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. Jeremiah 31:16-17

Jesus has redeemed us from the curse. Many of us have been well taught about that redemption where sin, sickness and poverty in our own lives are concerned. But we often fail to realize that redemption has power over the destruction the devil tries to bring on our children's lives as well.

Deuteronomy 28 states the curse of the law in verses 16-68. Notice what that curse says about children. "Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand" (verse 32).

"Thou shall beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity" (verse 41).

Many Christian parents are still suffering needlessly under that curse. Their children are being taken captive by drugs, alcohol and perversions. But it doesn't have to be that way! Since Jesus broke the curse of the law, these parents have the authority in the Name of Jesus to order Satan out of their children's lives.

Don't let the devil run roughshod over your children! When you see the first warning signs of rebellion in them, confess the promises of God over them and refuse to give the devil any room to operate.

Remember, the children don't understand the unseen forces that are coming against them. So it's your responsibility to stand against those forces on their behalf. Exercise that responsibility. Then take every opportunity to minister love to them.

God knows how to deliver

AMEN! Our God IS GOD! The ONE and ONLY! He IS our Saviour, Redeemer, Deliverer, Healer, restorer of all good things, and the KING of all kings and LORD of all lords! Here is Hillsong Worship with "That's The Power":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost For His Highest". This is SO good!

The Temple Of The Holy Spirit.

Only in the throne will I be greater than thou. — Genesis 41:40

I have to account to God for the way in which I rule my body under His domination. Paul said he did not “frustrate the grace of God” — make it of no effect. The grace of God is absolute, the salvation of Jesus is perfect, it is done for ever. I am not being saved, I am saved; salvation is as eternal as God’s throne; the thing for me to do is to work out what God works in. “Work out your own salvation”; I am responsible for doing it. It means that I have to manifest in this body the life of the Lord Jesus, not mystically, but really and emphatically. “I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection.” Every saint can have his body under absolute control for God. God has made us to have government over all the temple of the Holy Spirit, over imaginations and affections. We are responsible for these, and we must never give way to inordinate affections. Most of us are much sterner with others than we are in regard to ourselves; we make excuses for things in ourselves whilst we condemn in others things to which we are not naturally inclined.

“I beseech you,” says Paul, “present your bodies a living sacrifice.” The point to decide is this — “Do I agree with my Lord and Master that my body shall be His temple?” If so, then for me the whole of the law for the body is summed up in this revelation, that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Our GOD has already done everything that needs to be done for US to live, truly live, in the LIGHT of HIS WORD! Make HIM your #1 priority in every decision your make and in all that you do! THEN Holy Spirit will be able to lead, guide, and direct you in the way that you should go in order to walk in THE BLESSING that is on your life as a born again believer! Remember that JESUS said this in John 10:10!

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

AMEN! As you celebrate, think about using THIS song from Hillsong Worship called "That's The Power":

Shalom,

Today we read Proverbs 5 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan and the first 2 verses are enough!

1 My son, be attentive to my Wisdom [godly Wisdom learned by actual and costly experience], and incline your ear to my understanding [of what is becoming and prudent for you], 2 That you may exercise proper discrimination and discretion and your lips may guard and keep knowledge and the wise answer [to temptation].

IF we will simply be obedient to these two verses, it will be WELL with us! God's Word ALWAYS WORKS! Trust HIM! Trust HIS WORD! Niether has EVER failed! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

Shalom,

In Proverbs 4, through our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today, we see this in verses 1-9:

1 Hear, my sons, the instruction of a father, and pay attention in order to gain and to know intelligent discernment, comprehension, and interpretation [of spiritual matters]. 2 For I give you good doctrine [what is to be received]; do not forsake my teaching. 3 When I [Solomon] was a son with my father [David], tender and the only son in the sight of my mother [Bathsheba], 4 He taught me and said to me, Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments and live. 5 Get skillful and godly Wisdom, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake not [Wisdom], and she will keep, defend, and protect you; love her, and she will guard you. 7 The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).  8 Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her. 9 She shall give to your head a wreath of gracefulness; a crown of beauty and glory will she deliver to you.

When Solomon obeyed these instructions from His parents, HE had GREAT Wisdom! In fact, there was NO ONE wiser! If you want to contrast that with the results of NOT walking in the Wisdom that comes from the Word of God, read the Book of Ecclesiastes! THAT is the result of a life spent outside of the Truth of the Word and of the Wisdom of God! So I will encourage you instead to be a DOER of Proverbs 4:20-27:

20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. 24 Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you. 25 Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you. 26 Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. 27 Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.

AMEN! My prayer for you, and for all of my friends, family, relatives and loved ones, is that you will SEEK the WISDOM of God's Word, LEARN it, KNOW it, and then DO it! Nothing else will ever bring you contentment and peace! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

Shalom,

I LOVE today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin! Our God is MORE than ENOUGH!

More Than Enough

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies . . . . — JOSHUA 10:13

We see El Shaddai with Israel in Canaan’s land. (And incidentally, Canaan is not a type of Heaven. It couldn’t be. In Heaven there won’t be battles to fight, cities to take, or enemies or giants to overcome — they’re here in this world. No, Canaan is a type of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and our rights and privileges in Christ Jesus.) When Israel ran into difficulty in Canaan, Joshua, their leader, spoke to the Lord. And God stopped the whole universe because a man of God prayed! God can do that — He’s the God who is more than enough!

All through the Old Testament, we see El Shaddai moving in the lives of men and women, prophets, priests, and kings. But He’s not just the God of yesterday; He’s the God of now! He didn’t identify Himself as “the God who was more than enough,” or “the God who will be more than enough.” Too often we relegate everything back to the past, saying, “Oh, it was wonderful back when God did such things,” or to the future, saying, “When we all get to Heaven, everything will be wonderful.” No, things will be different here and now if you will trust in this God who is more than enough!

Confession: I believe God. I trust in God now. He is more than enough today! He is more than enough to overcome any situation I could face. He is MORE THAN ENOUGH for me.

AMEN! HALLELUJAH! WE serve the GOD WHo is MORE than ENOUGH! ALWAYS! TRUST HIM and learn to continually CELEBRATE HIM! Here is Hillsong Worship with "That's The Power":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" devotional! THIS is one of my favorites!

El Shaddai

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I AM THE ALMIGHTY GOD; walk before me, and be thou perfect. — GENESIS 17:1

The original Hebrew of this Old Testament verse reads that God said, “I am El Shaddai.”

God was revealed to Israel by seven covenant names, one of which was El Shaddai — which literally means “the God who is more than enough,” or “the All-Sufficient One.”

It will help your faith to think of God as “the One who is more than enough!”

Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed Himself as El Shaddai — the God who is more than enough. For example, as God was bringing the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, Pharaoh’s soldiers went after them to recapture them and make them slaves again. On one side of the children of Israel was the wilderness; on the other side, mountains. The Red Sea lay before them. They seemingly were boxed in, but they looked to God — the God who is more than enough — and He divided the sea! He congealed the depths in the heart of the sea (Exodus 15:8)! He froze the waters! The waters stood up on each side like a wall, and Israel walked across to the other side. Our God is more than enough!

Confession: My Father is El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. He’s more than any mountain to my right. He’s more than any enemy behind me. He’s more than any obstacle before me. He is my very own Father. And He is El Shaddai — the God who is more than enough!

AMEN! And don't EVER let yourself forget it! HE is ALWAYS FOR YOU! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Secret Place/Waiting (Spontaneous)":

Shalom,

Today we begin in the Book of Proverbs and I want to share a portion. Proverbs 1:1-7:

1 The proverbs (truths obscurely expressed, maxims, and parables) of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: 2 That people may know skillful and godly Wisdom and instruction, discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight, 3 Receive instruction in wise dealing and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, righteousness, justice, and integrity, 4 That prudence may be given to the simple, and knowledge, discretion, and discernment to the youth— 5 The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly]— 6 That people may understand a proverb and a figure of speech or an enigma with its interpretation, and the words of the wise and their dark sayings or riddles. 7 The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline.

I LOVE this! The underlined verses tells us the very purpose for Proverbs! THIS is what meditating on and DOING what we see in Proverbs will accomplish in our lives! Let's commit to be DOERS of every Word that Holy SPirit reveals to us! Do it QUICKLY! Do it BOLDLY! Do it JOYFULLY! THEN you will begin to see the manifestation of the GOODNESS of GOD! HALLELUJAH!
