Today, in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan, we read Proverbs 3. Let's look at verses 5-8:
5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. 8 It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.
Who does not want to be healthy and sound in their bodies, prosperous in their finances and find favor in every area of life? We are instructed above to put our full and complete trust in the ONE Who gave everything to free us from the dominion of darkness! We are to acknowledge HIS presence IN us, as born again believers, and His right as our LORD to instruct, correct, lead, guide and direct! WHEN we do this, then HE is free to "work all thing to the good" (Romans 8:28) for us! When we acknowledge HIM and then rely on HIM, He will NEVER let us down! So, use today to get your thinking in line with God's Word, fully expecting this next week to be your very best and most blessed week EVER to this point! And THIS is just the beginning of all that HE is waiting to do! What is He waiting for? For US to get with the program, and to do it in faith and love! CHOICES! Make wise ones!
