One of the verses of Scripture that has inspired me to dig into the Word is Proverbs 25:2:
2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.
"Glory" here is the Hebrew word "kabowd", which means: glory, honor, splendor, copiousness, dignity, riches, abundance. So, it is a GOOD thing when God "conceals", the Hebrew word "cathar", which means: to hide by covering, TRUTHS in His Word! And it is an equally good and wonderful thing when WE "search out" those TRUTHS! "Search out" is the Hebrew word "chaqar", which means: to examine intimately, to investigate, to search for, to seek out! One things to remember in all of your study of God's Word: He has hidden these precious things FROM the world and FOR us! The world cannot understand the Word, so they would just trample on the precious TRUTH! It HAS been given to us to KNOW His Word! We have Holy Spirit IN us as our personal TEACHER of TRUTH! So we should be exceedingly excited to have the secret things of God's Word revealed to us so that we can DO them! HE has something to confirm in our lives when we know, speak and act on that Word! I hope that this has made YOU more excited to search out these deep, hidden gems of God's Word! We MUST be acting on the Word that we discover in
