Shalom,

I believe that you will be encourage by today's devotion from Jerry Savelle!

Free to Enjoy Abundant Life

Jesus came to set you free from every form of bondage so you can have an enjoyable, rewarding, and satisfying life. If you feel overpowered by anything, Jesus wants you to be free from the power of that thing.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10)
It is not God’s will that you put up with anything that robs you of life to the full. He is a good God; He wants you to enjoy your life! He wants you to be free to become the person that He created you to be. He doesn’t want you crippled in your emotions, tormented in your mind, or sick in your body. He doesn’t want you bound by insecurity, fear, or sin. He wants you to be free to fulfill the assignment that He has for you to complete and live the abundant life. Just like a good father wants to see his children free from bondage, how much more does God want to see His children set free!
So how do we get free?
“If ye continue in My Word…ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).
As you spend time reading and hearing the Word of God, He will show you the truths that you need to understand to walk in your freedom. He will expose the hidden lies you have believed. He will speak to your heart and His Word will set you free.
Confession: Jesus has set me free from every bondage to live and enjoy an abundant life!
In order to GET free and STAY free, you and I must be like the Bereans we read about in yesterday's Bible Reading Plan! THEY spent time in God's Word DAILY! Look at Acts 17:10-12:

10 Now the brethren at once sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea; and when they arrived, they entered the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these [Jews] were better disposed and more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready and accepted and welcomed the message [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind and eagerness, searching and examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. 12 Many of them therefore became believers, together with not a few prominent Greeks, women as well as men. AMP

Let's be at least as wise as the Bereans! There really is no limit to how much we can learn from the Word of God except what we put on ourselves by stopping! Don't! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with a great older song called "One Way":

I lay my life down at Your feet
'Cause You're the only one I need
I turn to You and You are always there

In troubled times it's You I seek
I put You first that's all I need
I humble all I am all to You

One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for

You are always, always there
Every now and everywhere
Your grace abounds so deeply within me

You will never ever change
Yesterday, today the same
Forever till forever meets no end

One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for

One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for

You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
We live by faith and not by sight for You
We're living all for You

You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
We live by faith and not by sight for You
We're living all for You

You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
We live by faith and not by sight for You
We're living all for You

You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
We live by faith and not by sight for You
We're living all for You

One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for

One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You're the only one that I could live for

Shalom in Him!
