In Matthew 19:4-6 Jesus is responding to a question the Pharisees posed to Him, always trying to trip Him up in the Word! They had NO understanding that He WAS/IS the Living Word of God! They asked Him about divorce. His response:
4 He replied, Have you never read that He Who made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be united firmly (joined inseparably) to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate).
THIS is God's view of marriage and divorce! HE created the marriage union and HE set it's parameters! HE said that marriage is the union of one man and one woman! Any other "union" is NOT Biblical marriage! People have a God-given free will to make whatever choices they desire for their own lives! However, if they want the blessings promised in the Bible, they must choose the Bible Way! If people want to go to the Heaven of the Bible, there is only ONE WAY to get there! His Name is Jesus (John 14:6)! AMEN! This is not racist, hate speech, discrimination or any of the other popular political phrases used by those who want others to sanction their choices that are contrary to the Bible and the God OF the Bible! It IS what it IS, and it IS TRUTH! PLEASE choose TRUTH for YOUR life and family! You will NEVER regret it! Here is an older song from Hillsong called "One Way":
