Shalom,

Psalm 132:13-16:

13 For the LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His habitation: 14 This is My resting-place forever [says the LORD]; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. 15 I will surely and abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.

"Zion" is the Hebrew word "Tsiyown", which means: (as a permanent capital); a mountain of Jerusalem; another name for Jerusalem especially in the prophetic booksSo, it is settled right here! ALL of Jerusalem belongs to the nation of Israel as their capital - FOREVER! GOD SAYS SO!!! God's continued promise here is found in verses 16-18:

16 Her priests also will I clothe with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. 17 There will I make a horn spring forth and bud for David; I have ordained and prepared a lamp for My anointed [fulfilling the promises of old]. 18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

This was speaking of the coming Messiah, who is coming AGAIN, to rule and reign FOREVER! The nations of the world would do well to stay away from Israel and Jerusalem! The very fact the world is concentrating on the destruction of Israel (anyone not for her is against her!) should tell you just who is behind that! Make sure that YOU are praying for and blessing the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem!

In John 9 we see the Gifts of the Spirit in operation! Remember that Jesus operated on the earth as a man. He was filled with the Spirit when He was baptized by John. He could be filled with the Spirit because He was without sin! In most of the other healing miracles we see in the Word of God, Jesus said "Your faith has made you whole". This blind man didn't even know Who Jesus was! Verse 25:

25 Then he answered, I do not know whether He is a sinner and wicked or not. But one thing I do know, that whereas I was blind before, now I see.

The Jewish leaders were angry that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day and were always trying to find something to use against Him. Everyone was afraid to say anything about Jesus for fear of being kicked out of the synagogue. I LOVE this man for his boldness! Verses 27 and 30-33:

27 He answered, I already told you and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Can it be that you wish to become His disciples also?

I would LOVE to have seen the looks on their faces at that moment! Then verses 30-33:

30 The man replied, Well, this is astonishing! Here a Man has opened my eyes, and yet you do not know where He comes from. [That is amazing!] 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and a worshiper of Him and does His will, He listens to him. 32 Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this Man were not from God, he would not be able to do anything like this.

Instead of agreeing with him and finding out more about this Man Who could do something never done before, they got angry and threw the man out of the synagogue. If they had REALLY been following hard after the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible, they would have known that this was of God. They were  more concerned with their own reputations and positions of authority. The formerly blind man  believed and and was saved! He couldn't be born again yet, but his new found faith in Jesus was declared in verses 35-38! Dare to believe the Word of God and dare to stand up for the Truth! Amen! Here is Hillsong United with "Lost Are Found":

Ezekiel 31-32 shows more of the judgment against Egypt and the other nations who refused to acknowledge or exalt the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible. Every nation that ever thrived did so as a result of the blessing of HIM! When they refused to acknowledge Him as God, then He withdrew His hand of blessing and protection and they were doomed! The same God Who foretold of their destruction, also foretold of the future blessing and re-establishment of the nation of Israel! Everything we see points to the great goodness of our God! Israel can count on Him to be true to His Word, and so can we! Glory to God!

Shalom in Him!
