Proverbs 27:2 says this:
2 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
We have all been around people who couldn't seem to stop talking about themselves and all that THEY have accomplished! These can be elected officials, celebrities, co-workers, friends and even relatives! Verse 2 above is the very best attitude to have concerning your own accomplishments! Never belittle yourself, for you ARE a child of the One, True and Living God, but don't brag about yourself either. No one likes this and it will NOT cause you to find the kind of favor you need to accomplish all that God has planned for you to accomplish!
