Have you been tempted to be discouraged by what has been happening in this nation, and all over the world, and how incompetent and downright evil some leaders have become? Well, take heart! Keep praying unceasingly and understand that the times are in the hands of God! In answer to the faith-filled prayers of the righteous (those who have received Jesus as Lord and personal Savior), God can and will respond! Do YOU think this looks like an impossibility? Look at 2 Chronicles 36:22-23:
22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing: 23 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord, the God of heaven, has given me, and He has charged me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up [to Jerusalem].
Did you notice just who is it that God instructed to rebuild the Temple - IN JERUSALEM? It was Cyrus, king of Persia! THAT is present day Iran! Remember Proverbs 21:1:
1 THE KING'S heart is in the hand of the Lord, as are the watercourses; He turns it whichever way He wills. AMP
