Exodus 14:21-22 tells what happened when Moses obeyed God and stretched out his hand over the Red Sea:
21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night and made the sea dry land; and the waters were divided.
22 And the Israelites went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
When we visited Israel last year we shopped in an art store owned by a friend of our guide. This picture was in the store, painted by the owners son:
This give some archaeological evidence, including chariot wheels found in the Red Sea. Near the bottom is a 3D model which can be enlarged that shows the place where the people most likely walked across. It shows a natural land bridge below the sea!
Remember: God's Word IS TRUTH! There are NO contradictions! If we find something that SEEMS like a contradiction, we have just found something that we don't know enough about yet! Keep studying! He WILL provide the answers!
