Shalom,

I have a suggestion for you today! Have you had times when you felt that the pressure was too much to bear? Have you had times when it seemed like you were the only one the enemy was focusing on? We MUST, first of all, understand that this is far from the Truth! Both Paul and Peter addressed this in 1 Corinthians 10:13 and in 1 Peter 5:8-9:

1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. KJV

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. KJV

AND, even if it were true, the Word of God and the authority we have as born again believers is still the same, ALWAYS! What we REALLY need at these times is to do what David did in 1 Samuel 30:6:

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. KJV

One of the examples of David doing this is found in 1 Samuel 17:35-37 when David went before Saul  before he faced Goliath. Another example of encouraging yourself in the Lord by reminding yourself of past victories and of all the things that the God of the Bible has done before is found in today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Read Psalm 105 all the way through. If that doesn't encourage you that God is GOOD, all the time, then read it again and again! Build yourself up in your faith by doing this AND by praying in the Spirit (Jude 1:20) and you will find your joy stirring up, your courage and confidence returning and you will be able to get your shout on! The shout of VICTORY through HIM! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Shout Of The King":

Shalom in Him!
