Shalom,

Psalm 84 begins with a cry out by the psalmist to be back in the presence of the Lord! Look at verses 1-2:

HOW LOVELY are Your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! My soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out and sing for joy to the living God.

Do you realize what it takes to have YOUR heart cry out for more of Him? We will NOT desire what we do not know! Make it a priority to find out something new about Him each day as you spend time renewing your mind with the Word of God! As you meditate, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you what you need to know and understand! He WILL! Look at 1 John 2:27:

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. NKJV

The anointing with in you is the Spirit of God! HE will teach you what the Word of God means to you and how YOU are to put it into practice! I really like this from the Message Bible:

27 But they're no match for what is embedded deeply within you — Christ's anointing, no less! You don't need any of their so-called teaching. Christ's anointing teaches you the truth on everything you need to know about yourself and him, uncontaminated by a single lie. Live deeply in what you were taught. THE MESSAGE

When HE teaches you His Word, you WILL develop the desire for more of Him! Then YOU will say, with the psalmist from Psalm 84:10-12:

10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness. 11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. 12 O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

AMEN! DO it! You'll NEVER regret that decision! Here is Hillsong with a great older song called "Home":

Shalom in Him!
