Shalom,

Matthew 12:35-37:

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. KJV

"Justified" here is the Greek word "dikaioo". This means: to render just or innocent. It also means: to render righteous; to declare righteous; to declare guiltless. "Condemned" here is the Greek word "katadikazo". This means to pronounce guilty. It also means: to give judgment against. Notice what it is that determines whether we will be justified or condemned! Our WORDS! Verse 37 specifically says "THY words"! No one else is responsible for controlling what comes out of our mouths but US! The Amplified Bible says it this way:

35The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. 36But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.37For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

It looks to me like our words are very vital to our walking in the fullness of the Life that God wants for us! Look at the promise found in Mark 11:23:

23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

Speak the WORD! Then believe that the Word you speak will come to pass, and you WILL HAVE IT! Amen! That's not MY promise! It comes straight from the heart of the One, True God! Amen! Here is Hillsong with "Desert Song":

Shalom in Him!
