Shalom,

With all that is going on in the world today that is wrong and down right evil, it is great to know that GOD is not fooled by any of it! Psalm 94 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today says this in verse 11:

11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain (empty and futile—only a breath).

None of this has taken the Lord our God by surpirse! HE knows the end from the beginning! he knows what the enemy has planned before he even plans it! Verses 12-17are OURS to hold on to!

12 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, 13 That You may give him power to keep himself calm in the days of adversity, until the [inevitable] pit of corruption is dug for the wicked. 14 For the Lord will not cast off nor spurn His people, neither will He abandon His heritage. 15 For justice will return to the [uncompromisingly] righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. 16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17 Unless the Lord had been my help, I would soon have dwelt in [the land where there is] silence.

Verse 21 tells us what the enemy will try:

21 They band themselves together against the life of the [consistently] righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

But verses 22-23 tell us what our GOD will do!

22 But the Lord has become my High Tower and Defense, and my God the Rock of my refuge. 23 And He will turn back upon them their own iniquity and will wipe them out by means of their own wickedness; the Lord our God will wipe them out.

Never lose hope! GOD is ALWAYS for us! Never give up! Never give in! Our enemy is a defeatd foe and WE are guaranteed the VICTORY if we refuse to quit! Romans 8:37-39 give us THIS great promise!

37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
