We read Psalm 106 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today. I LOVE when the Psalms begin with praise and worship to the LORD our GOD! Verses 1-3:

1 Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! 2 Who can put into words and tell the mighty deeds of the Lord? Or who can show forth all the praise [that is due Him]? 3 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who observe justice [treating others fairly] and who do right and are in right standing with God at all times.

Who can EVER put into words how GREAT our GOD actually is? Impossible in this lifetime! HEAVEN is filled with the praises of our God! But we can PRACTICE here! HALLELUJAH! Psalm 106 goes on to record some of the times that God's people turned away and failed Him, BUT, when they repented and turned again to Him, He was right there to bring them back! NEVER forget that when God SEEMS to be far away, HE never moved! Get YOURSELF right back into HIS presence through prayer, praise & worship, study and meditation of His Word and intimate fellowship with HIM!
