Psalm 19:1 says this:
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork.
"Heavens" here is the Hebrew word "shamayim", which means: to be lofty, the sky (both the are in which the clouds move and the higher area where planes and stars revolve! "Declare" is the Hebrew word "caphar", which means: to score, to record,to inscribe, to recount, to relate, to celebrate! Everything that we are able to see in the "heavens" confirms the Word of God! Everything that Science has 'discovered' simply proves that the Bible is the source of all TRUTH! Not one Scientific discovery has even come close to disproving the Bible! Now THOSE are some pretty powerful words! Yet, about a year ago, I had a family member criticize a pic I had posted with this verse over a beautiful picture of the sky. Instead of asking questions about where I received my ideas, he proceeded to simply say "Not really, just space junk"! What this person, and many others with similar views, fail to realize is that even IF the picture was simply 'junk', the truly awesome think to praise His Name for is that there IS a broad and ever expanding universe to HAVE junk in! SERIOUSLY!!! Psalm 92:4 says this:
For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your works; at the deeds of Your hands I joyfully sing.
