Psalm 104:1-3:
1 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with honor and majesty— 2 [You are the One] Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain or a tent, 3 Who lays the beams of the upper room of His abode in the waters [above the firmament], Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind,
Our God IS God! The ONLY God! HE is the One Who created the entire universe and all of creation. HE is the One Who formed the plan to capture us back from the control and the dominion of darkness! HE deserves ALL of our praise, thanksgiving and worship! AMEN! So, begin every day by thanking Him for WHO He is and for what He's done! Now let's look at today's "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin and you can get even more excited about Him, and you IN HIM!
Stripped
April 14, 2015
"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" (Col. 2:15).
"And the hostile princes and rulers He shook off from Himself, and boldly displayed them as His conquests" (Col. 2:15, Weymouth).
The Bible teaches us here that Jesus put Satan to naught and He triumphed over him. Another translation reads, "He stripped him." What did He strip Satan of? It was His authority over man.

When Jesus put Satan to naught and stripped him of his authority, it was you in Christ who did the work. Christ acted in your stead - in your place. He did it for you. What Christ did was marked to your credit. He did it as your substitute. (He did it in your place, and God marked it to your credit as though you were the one who did it!)
No, we're not bragging about what you are in the flesh. (You don't amount to much in the flesh.) We're talking about who you are in Christ. You can say, "In Christ, I conquered Satan. I stripped him of his authority. And when Jesus arose from the dead, I arose with Him!"
Confession: Christ Jesus satisfied the claims of Justice against me. He paid the penalty of sin for me. He stripped the hosts of darkness of their authority over me. Satan, therefore, has no dominion over me!
Now we are in the proper mind set to realize just what He is saying through this psalmist in Psalm 104:4:No, we're not bragging about what you are in the flesh. (You don't amount to much in the flesh.) We're talking about who you are in Christ. You can say, "In Christ, I conquered Satan. I stripped him of his authority. And when Jesus arose from the dead, I arose with Him!"

4 Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: KJV
People have all different "interpretations" of just what this verse is saying. I will show you the Hebrew words and their meanings, and then YOU can decide for yourselves! First we will look at "angels". This is the Hebrew word "mal'ak". which means: messenger, representative. A messenger can certainly BE an angel, but it does not HAVE to be! "Spirits" is the Hebrew word "ruwach", which means: wind, breath, spirit. WE are spirit beings, who have souls (mind, emotions and will) and live in physical bodies (1 Thessalonians 5:23). God SPOKE the universe into existence and He expects US to speak HIS Word into situations and circumstances and change them by the power of His Word and by His Spirit (John 15:7)! "Ministers" is the Hebrew word "sharath", which means: to minster or serve. THAT certainly applies to us! "Flaming fire" are two Hebrew words that mean exactly that! WE are told to BE on fire for God. Look at Romans 12:11:
11 Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. AMP
So, HE has sent us (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15-18), making us messengers. We are spirit beings who are told to speak His Word. AND, we are told to be "burning with the Spirit". Thank God that HE sends us, He anoints us, He gives us the Words to speak and then HE confirms that Word with signs, wonders and miracles (Mark 16:20)! Let's GET UP, GET OUT, and SPEAK! AMEN! He's waiting on us! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Wake":
Shalom in Him!
