Today I want to share "Faith To Faith" by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. It touches on something that I believe is very important for the born again believer in Jesus to understand in order be able to fulfill what God has called us to do! 

The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me. John 10:27, The Amplified Bible

So many believers are unsure of their ability to hear God or know His voice. They're always afraid that they won't be able to tell when the Spirit of God is talking to them. What they don't realize is this: Hearing the voice of the Spirit is a privilege that the Bible says belongs to every believer (Romans 8:14). All we have to do to exercise that privilege is to receive it by faith and put ourselves in a position to hear. Next time the devil tries to tell you that you can't hear God's voice, remember that.

Jesus said His sheep will know His voice and a stranger's voice they will not follow. That is a promise of God to you today. You see, the Spirit of God will never guide you in opposition to the written Word of God (John 16:13). So, if you're not familiar with what the Word says, you'll find it more difficult to discern His leading. Get familiar with God's voice by meditating and studying the Word of God. Follow God's instruction to Joshua and meditate on it day and night. Act on what you find in the Word, not just when it's easy but every time. Be obedient even in the slightest things.

That continual obedience to the written Word will bring you into maturity and tune your inward ear to the voice of the Spirit. You'll soon be able to recognize it as easily as you recognize the voice of your dearest friend. So, instead of wondering about it, start expecting to hear from Him. Then start sharpening your spiritual ears by spending time in the Word.

Practice hearing and becoming familiar with His voice by keeping a notepad or journal with you as you pray and listen. Write down what He says to you and then check back often to see what happened with what He spoke to you about. HE desires that you have confidence in His voice so that you can hear and obey, fulfilling YOUR calling, ministry and mission in life. 3 John 2 tells us that He desires that we prosper and be in health, and that this happens as our soul (mind, emotions and will) prospers. Hearing and obeying HIS voice in essential in this! Have YOU received Jesus as Lord and Savior? If so, then you DO hear His voice! HE said so! If you have not, why not? I want to add one more thing that comes up in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan today. I have had so many people tell me that I need to get with the times and agree with the rest of the world concerning same sex marriage. THEY say that Jesus approves because He tells us to walk in love with everyone, and that it is not love to tell two men or two women that they cannot marry. First of all, I will never tell anyone that they cannot do something. THAT is for them to choose! Jesus gave each of us the right to choose to agree with Him or not! IF we agree with Jesus and His Word then we will have the results the Word of God reveals! HERE is what Jesus actually had to say concerning marriage! Mark 10:6-9:

6 But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female. 7 For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently, 8 And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide.

There you have it! From the beginning of creation God made men and women to operate this way! Now YOU choose whether you will agree with, and act on, His Word or not! AMEN! Is He YOUR God or not? Here is Hillsong  with "This Is Our God":
