We read the first 88 verses of Psalm 119 in the Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today. The very best verse, and one that should be all the motivation we need to desire to know Him more, is verse 2:
2Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart. AMP
The Amplified Bible is very accurate with this verse. The word "blessed" here is the Hebrew word "`ashre", which means: blessed, happy; connotes the state of prosperity or happiness that comes when a superior bestows his favor (blessing) on one. If we DO the last part of verse 2, then we will enjoy the first part! be a DOER of all that you see in the Word of God to do, and you will have the results promised in that Word! Amen!
