If you had known . . . in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes —Luke 19:42
Jesus entered Jerusalem triumphantly and the city was stirred to its very foundations, but a strange god was there-the pride of the Pharisees. It was a god that seemed religious and upright, but Jesus compared it to “whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness” (Matthew 23:27).
What is it that blinds you to the peace of God “in this your day”?
Especially in the technologically advanced times that we live in, there can be any number of distractions that occur in our lives throughout the day! Do YOU recognize them in YOUR life? We MUST spend sufficient time in the Word of God, on a daily basis, in order to stay in the position where HE can lead, guide and direct us through every situation and circumstance, to VICTORY! Amen! 1 Corinthians 10:5 says this:
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
It is MY responsibility to control my thought-life by refusing to think on anything contrary to the Word of God! It is YOUR responsibility in YOUR life! Let's not miss one thing that the Spirit of God desires to lead us in by being distracted by anything this world has to offer. NOTHING is as blessed as the life spent in His presence and in obedience to His Word! Amen! Here is Hillsong United with "Awakening"! Let's have one!
Shalom in Him!
