Psalm 34:1-4:

The Big Compelling Of God

Behold, we go up to Jerusalem. — Luke 18:31

Jerusalem stands in the life of Our Lord as the place where He reached the climax of His Father’s will. “I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me.” That was the one dominating interest all through our Lord’s life, and the things He met with on the way, joy or sorrow, success or failure, never deterred Him from His purpose. “He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem.”

The great thing to remember is that we go up to Jerusalem to fulfil God’s purpose, not our own. Naturally, our ambitions are our own; in the Christian life we have no aim of our own. There is so much said to-day about our decisions for Christ, our determination to be Christians, our decisions for this and that, but in the New Testament it is the aspect of God’s compelling that is brought out. “Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you.” We are not taken up into conscious agreement with God’s purpose, we are taken up into God’s purpose without any consciousness at all. We have no conception of what God is aiming at, and as we go on it gets more and more vague. God’s aim looks like missing the mark because we are too short-sighted to see what He is aiming at. At the beginning of the Christian life we have our own ideas as to what God’s purpose is — “I am meant to go here or there”; “God has called me to do this special work”; and we go and do the thing, and still the big compelling of God remains. The work we do is of no account, it is so much scaffolding compared with the big compelling of God. “He took unto Him the twelve,” He takes us all the time. There is more than we have got at as yet.

It is GOD's will that is the  most important aspect of our relationship and fellowship with HIM! HE ALONE knows the whole picture of what His plans and purposes are for all of mankind! He has made it clear that, as muchas the choice is HIS, He wants us well, prosperous and successful! BUT, it is OUR obedience to HIS directions and instructions that determine just how much BLESSING we walk in! Choose YOU this day! And choose WELL! AMEN! Today's message is short and sweet! Psalm 32:10-11 is perfect for such a time as this!

10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness. 11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you who are upright and in right standing with Him]; shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

The wicked who are operating in wickedness right now, speaking in hatred, causing destruction, wreaking havoc and taking lives are in for MUCH sorrow! The Word of God just told us that above! BUT, we who trust in, rely on and confidently lean of the LORD our GOD WILL walk in His great mercy and in His loving kindness! SO, let's rejoice as those who have MUCH to rejoice about! We have new life - IN HIM! We have new citizenship - IN HIM! We have a new and better Covenant with Almighty God - IN HIM! We have a sure and certain future - IN HIM! Do You Feel Like You’ve Hit a Brick Wall?

…we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God, which raiseth the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8,9  

Are you currently facing hard times in your life? Today I want to encourage you from the Word of God and show you how to tackle these difficult circumstances and emerge victorious. The devil will try to convince you that you’re a failure, that your life is over, and that nothing good lies ahead for you; however, this simply isn’t true. These emotions are temporary and fleeting, and the enemy is trying to use them to hold you back and keep you from experiencing the fulfilled life that God wants you to enjoy.

Although we don’t like to admit it, we all occasionally have times in our lives when we hit a brick wall, so to speak. We don’t know what to say, what to do, where to turn, or even how to pray. Sometimes it seems as if we’ve hit a dead end and everything is finished, over, and done with. If you’ve ever been in a place like that, you know what a hard place this can be! These feelings usually arise when we think that we’ve failed, that people have misunderstood us, or that we’ve been unfairly judged. However, even when we’ve made serious mistakes, these setbacks are rarely as irreparable as they seem.

I understand that these emotions feel very real in the moment. When others tell you that your situation is not as bad as you think or that you need to remember to be grateful for all the good in your life, it may even make you angry. Their comments may be right, but because you’re the one in the midst of the trial, you still feel hopeless. Somehow you’ve found yourself caught in a storm and you don’t know how to put one foot in front of the other to make your way out of it. You may feel like nothing you do pleases anyone, so you question why you should even try.

In truth, it doesn’t matter if the emotions you are experiencing stem from real personal failure or from circumstances outside of your control. It’s still your responsibility to get up, brush yourself off, and start moving forward again in your walk with God! Think about it — your entire faith is based on resurrection. The resurrection power of God is inside you, and it can lift you up above all the jumbled emotions and turmoil — into a better place than you’ve ever known in your life!

There have been many moments in my own life when I felt overwhelmed by circumstances and challenges. Usually those are the times when the devil seized the opportunity to whisper, There is no way out. You have no way to crawl out from where you are. You’re trapped with no escape. However, his words of discouragement and despair have never proven to be true! 

Although it may have taken longer than I anticipated to reach my goal and required me to grow to new levels of faith, there was always a way to do whatever Jesus had asked me to do, and I ultimately found victory in every challenge.

If we stick with our assigned tasks and keep moving forward — even if it’s one step at a time — we will always win! And after we’ve pressed beyond our struggles into victory, we’ll always be thankful we didn’t give up!

When I am facing challenges in my life, I always derive immense strength from Paul’s words in Second Corinthians 1:8 and 9, where he wrote, “…we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God, which raiseth the dead.” Paul wrote these verses when he felt trapped by crushing ordeals in his ministry, and his words tell me that he didn’t know if he would survive. How thankful I am that God didn’t hide the apostle’s difficult moments from us!

Paul’s words in Second Corinthians 1:8 and 9 teach us what to do when we feel like we simply cannot make it any further in our own strength or that we’re no match for the challenges we’re facing. We simply must surrender to the resurrection power of God! That’s what the apostle Paul did when he found himself face to face with life-threatening situations. When Paul wrote, “…we had the sentence of death in ourselves,” he was at one of those dead end places that I’m talking about today. In fact, the situation he faced was so acute that he compared it to a sentence of death. That’s dramatic language!

The word “sentence” is the Greek word krino — a word that usually referred to a jury who had just handed down their final sentence in a court of law. You could say that it denoted a verdict or a final sentence pronounced as the result of a court trial. After all the evidence had been presented and the judge had examined all the facts, a final verdict was issued by the court.

By using this word “sentence” or krino, Paul told us that so many problems were stacked against him and his companions that, by all appearances, it seemed like there was no way for them to escape or even to survive. It looked as if they’d hit a dead end, as if everything was finished, over, and done with! Paul went on to say that it looked so insurmountable that, as far as he was concerned, it seemed there was only one possible outcome — death!

But in spite of how bad things appeared, Paul didn’t die, nor did he fail at fulfilling the job God had given him to do. It may have looked like it was the end of the road for Paul, but it was really the beginning of a new supernatural flow of divine power into his life. That’s why he went on to say that through it all, he learned not to trust in himself, but in God who raises the dead.

Paul had been under intense pressure, but right in the midst of this horrible situation, God’s resurrection power was released inside Paul and he was rescued! Paul said it was so dramatic that it was almost as if he and his companions had been raised from the dead.

When you don’t know what else to do but turn to God, that’s usually when His resurrection power can begin to operate in you in the greatest way. You see, in God there’s no such thing as a hopeless situation. That dead end place you may be facing right now can become a place of new beginnings!

Let me tell you, people all around you are struggling right now. The devil is telling them that they won’t make it. But they will make it if they choose to turn their focused gaze to Jesus, and you will too! Your victory may not come as you thought, but God is with you, and He will get you through whatever it is you’re facing if you’ll surrender to the Holy Spirit’s resurrection power inside you.

This is not the end for you! God has a marvelous plan for your life, and the devil simply doesn’t have the power to hijack what He has planned. Remember — if the devil has tried to tell you that you’re a failure, that life is over, and that nothing good lies ahead of you in the future, it’s not true! What you’re feeling will pass, and better days are ahead. Just determine to lay hold of the resurrection power of Christ in you, and let it lift you up above the storm into a brighter and better place!

AMEN! God's Word ALWAYS has the ANSWER to every situation, circumstance, problem or trial that we face! Spend time in God's Word, pray in the Spirit, rejoice in His presence and then fully EXPECT the answers to come! When they do, act on them immediately! SPEAK YOUR SALVATION

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10 NKJV)

How do you take advantage of the fullness of salvation—deliverance, victory, healing, wholeness—that Jesus died to give you? By following the biblical pattern set forth in the tenth chapter of the book of Romans.

First, you believe in your heart that Jesus has given you His righteousness, and that God now sees you every bit as acceptable and holy as Jesus.

Second, you confess out loud the salvation that you have in Jesus, believing you receive it the moment you ask for it (see Mark 11:24).

Speaking your salvation doesn’t end with making the confession that Jesus is your Lord. The Bible says the person who “does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23). Whenever you have a specific need, you can find the scripture that pertains to your situation, and then make it a personal confession over your life.

Based on Colossians 1:13, you can confess, “I have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. I am free from the power of the devil and free from the power of sin.”

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, you can declare, “I am in Christ and have become a new person. Old things have passed away and I perceive clearly that all things have become new.”

Begin today to confess out loud your healing, wholeness, deliverance, and victory in Jesus, and enjoy walking in the fullness of the salvation He has already provided for you.

Confession: Having received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, I now reign in life through Christ Jesus. I use my faith and I walk in His grace. I walk in victory over every negative circumstance in my life.

Today I want to share this very timely message from Joseph Prince's "Grace Inspirations":

THE LORD YOUR REFUGE WILL DELIVER YOU

Psalm 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

Today, we hear of new strains of viruses which were unheard of only a generation ago. The world has yet to find cures for them and many people are afraid of being struck down by these viruses.

But as believers, we are not of the world, though we are in the world (see John 17:15–16). So our protection is not of the world, but of the Lord. And when we say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust” (Psalm 91:2), then what follows is not “maybe,” but surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

A couple in our church can testify that surely the Lord delivered and protected their two young children during a Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) outbreak, which claimed a few lives in Singapore not long ago.

When their four-year-old daughter started vomiting and running a fever, the mother brought her to their family doctor, who found ulcers in her mouth and small red dots on her hands and feet—symptoms of the HFMD. Naturally, the doctor prescribed medication for her.

Back home, however, the little girl continued to vomit throughout the day, throwing up everything including the medication. Her fever persisted. Not able to do anything for their daughter, the parents prayed, proclaiming Jesus as their healer, and partook of the Holy Communion many times with both their children.

That night, their daughter’s fever broke and the vomiting subsided. They continued making the Lord their refuge and fortress. Within two days, their daughter was completely delivered from the disease. And all this while, their six-year-old son was completely protected from the infectious disease.

Beloved, you don’t need to be afraid of deadly diseases which may have claimed the lives of others. You don’t have to be fearful that you or your child may become victims of these super bugs. When the Lord is your refuge and fortress, surely He shall deliver you and your family from the snare of the fowler, such as the avian flu, and from all perilous pestilences!

AMEN! We must study the Word of god to find exactly what belongs to us as born again children of the Living God! THEN we must stand strong in faith, KNOWING that ALL of the promises of God are YES from Him and AMEN by us! Here is Hillsong with "Yes And Amen":

Psalm 28  from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today ends with these verses:

6 Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications. 7 The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. 8 The Lord is their [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed. 9 Save Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever.

Notice that the psalmist was praising the Lord for HAVING HEARD his prayer in verses 6-8, then ends with another prayer. An answer to that very prayer can be found in our New Testament reading today in Matthew 28! The angel had proclaimed the resurrection of Jesus and said that Jesus would appear to them. Now look at verses 18-20 to see more!

18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Notice that He instructed them to baptize the people INTO the Name of the Godhead! This is NOT water baptism! This is becoming one with JESUS through the New Birth! Becoming part of the familyt of God, the Church of JESUS CHRIST and HIS future BRIDE! THEN water baptism is the outward display of all that had happended when they did so, letting the world around them know just who THEY NOW WERE! HIS! HALLELUJAH! God is a God of the second chance. He is a God of miracles. He has never changed His plans for your life. Seasons change, but God's promises to you have not. Your miracle is just ahead.

"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts." (Haggai 2:9)

AMEN! One of the most powerful things that we can learn about our God is that HE CHANGES NOT! He will never change on a whim and speak something different than what He has already declared in His Word! If something that you have been told, taught or believed is contrary to the Word of God, then it is UNTRUTH and you need to renew your mind with the TRUTH, which IS the Word of God (John 17:17) in order to properly discern! Become a student of the Word of God so that you can 'rightly divide' the Word, learn the TRUTH and walk in obedience to it! Your success in this life depends on it! The Way To Know

If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine.… — John 7:17

The golden rule for understanding spiritually is not intellect, but obedience. If a man wants scientific knowledge, intellectual curiosity is his guide; but if he wants insight into what Jesus Christ teaches, he can only get it by obedience. If things are dark to me, then I may be sure there is something I will not do. Intellectual darkness comes through ignorance; spiritual darkness comes because of something I do not intend to obey.

No man ever receives a word from God without instantly being put to the test over it. We disobey and then wonder why we don’t go on spiritually. “If when you come to the altar,” said Jesus, “there you remember your brother hath ought against you…don’t say another word to Me, but first go and put that thing right.” The teaching of Jesus hits us where we live. We cannot stand as humbugs before Him for one second. He educates us down to the scruple. The Spirit of God unearths the spirit of self-vindication; He makes us sensitive to things we never thought of before.

When Jesus brings a thing home by His word, don’t shirk it. If you do, you will become a religious humbug. Watch the things you shrug your shoulders over, and you will know why you do not go on spiritually. First go — at the risk of being thought fanatical you must obey what God tells you.

AMEN! If you feel as though the Word of God is not alive and fresh to you anymore, then check the last thing that HE spoke to your heart to do, and DO IT! New revelation will not come until we have proven ourselves faithful and reliable over the revelation that we already have! Here is Hillsong with "No Reason To Hide":

Psalm 25:4-5 from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today is something that I have shared before because I pray this when I study God's Word!

4 Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. 5 Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long.

1 John 5:14-15 tells us that if we ask anything that is according to God's will, He hears us! AND, if He hears us, we HAVE what we have asked for! No question about it! So, praying that He will teach us His Word is the same as Him teaching us His will, because His Word IS His will! We need NEVER have an unanswered prayer again when we have the way to KNOW His WILL! In today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan we read Psalm 24 and verse 1 has always been a favorite!

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.

Remember this when you are tempted to think that the God of all creation does not care about what is happening in our world today! HE told us of these times in His Word! NOW is the time to stand steadfast in the Truth that you have been learning and growing in all of these years since you received JESUS as Lord and personal Saviour! If you have only just recently been born again, know without a doubt that the Spirit of Almighty God, Who lives IN you and is teaching you, is doing a quick work in these days! Allow Him to show you the LOVE of God manifest so that YOU can become a conscious carrier of that love to others! 

We also read today in 2 Chonicles the account of King Jehoshaphat and the battle at Engedi! I love verses 15-17 where the Lord tells him THIS:

15 He said, Hearken, all Judah, you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.16 Tomorrow go down to them. Behold, they will come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the ravine before the Wilderness of Jeruel. 17 You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.
In verses 18-19 we see this:

18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping Him. 19 And some Levites of the Kohathites and Korahites stood up to praise the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.
And then there is THIS in verses 20-22:

20 And they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper. 21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy [priestly] garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered;

The King, believing that what God had revealed to him was the TRUTH, responded himself with worship, then put the worship teams and praise leaders out in front! He demonstrated that he BELIEVED the promise of God and would be victorious! And he was! HALLELUJAH! The most important that we, as born again believers with a new and better covenant can do is to OBEY GOD and HIS WORD! Verses 29-30 shows the results!

29 And the fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of those countries when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest round about.
AMEN! TRUST HIM! He ALWAYS has your best interest at heart! He wants you to have, and operate in, LIFE! John 10:10:

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

The Word of God is filled with the promises of God for His people! The most powerful way to have those promises manifested in our lives is to mneditate on the Word until faith rises up on the inside and we know that we knoa that we know that it is ours! A good example of this is found in the Psalm we read today inour Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Psalm 23:

1 The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I do not lack. 2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. 3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake. 4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. 6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

Don't Limit God

You are the creation. He is your Creator. You cannot out think the One who made you. He delights in performing the impossible. He turns sickness into health. Poverty into prosperity. Tears into laughter.

Jesus is the Master of the turn around. Don't underestimate the Great I Am.

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." (Mark 10:27)

AMEN! JESUS turns anything and everything bad into something GOOD when we trust in HIM! Romans 8:28 promises us this:

  28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. 

Now THAT is a GREAT promise! There is NOTHING that we can EVER face that JESUS can't turn completely around and work it for OUR benefit! He LOVES us THAT much! Here is Hillsong with "Love So Great":

Nothing to Lose

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. Isaiah 3:10-11

Have you ever been afraid to give yourself totally to the Lord because you think you might be deprived of some pleasure in this life? Chances are, you have. That's because Satan is working overtime to convince you that he can really make your life worth living. But don't believe him for a minute. The real truth is, yielding completely to the Lord won't cost you anything that's worth having. It will only cause you to live life to its fullest!

Jesus' life on earth was a perfect example of a totally yielded life. He was a walking example of the benefits godly living brings. Everywhere He went, Jesus made the deaf to hear, the blind to see, the lame to walk. He lived in perfect peace and absolute victory.

That all sounds pretty good to me. All He missed out on was the devil getting dominion over Him to steal, kill and destroy. In fact, the devil couldn't do anything to Him until, by the Father's will, He laid down His life. Until that time Jesus walked in total victory over the enemy.

Do you think you would miss out on a lot if you lived that way? Of course not! You can walk in that same anointing and power and glory of God that Jesus did.

Do you have to give up your whole life to do it? Yes! You have to trade your life for the life of God. You have to trade your sickness for His healing, your poverty for His prosperity, your anxiety for His peace, your sin for His salvation.

So why hesitate? When it gets right down to it, you really have nothing to lose.

AMEN! Never forget that the Word of God IS TRUTH! John 17:17:

17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

Today I want to share from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "From Faith To Faith" devotional!

Give More—Not Less

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. Proverbs 11:24

When money gets tight, it's always a temptation to cut down on your giving. After all, it seems like the logical thing to do. Don't do it! You'll end up cutting off the flow of God's financial blessings just when you need them most.

I faced that kind of situation just a few years ago. This ministry had fallen behind financially—$1 million to be exact. Gloria and I had been living by faith for 20 years at that time. We knew firsthand that God would meet our needs—"according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We'd seen God prove that over and over again, not only in our personal lives but in the life of our ministry as well.

Yet this particular time, all the prayers and the faith that had brought us victory before just didn't seem to get the job done. In fact, as time went on, the situation grew worse instead of better.

By the end of the year our deficit had grown to be $1 million.

Frustrated and weary, I finally went to God one day and laid the situation out before Him. "Lord," I said, "You see the condition of this ministry. I need $1 million just to break even."

"Oh no, you don't!" the Lord replied.

Hadn't He looked at the books? Hadn't He talked to my accountant? I was stumped. All I could figure was that I'd misunderstood something. So I went through it all again.

Again He said, Oh no, you don't.

Despite my initial confusion, as I kept asking and listening, I began to understand what the Lord was telling me. He was saying that the red ink on the books wasn't the only thing wrong. There was a bigger problem behind it.

Then He showed me what I needed to do was to start giving 10 percent of the ministry's income into ministering to the poor.

To the natural mind that looked like no solution at all. How do you solve a deficit by giving away what money you've got? But when I applied that solution, the $1 million deficit began to disappear.

Remember that next time the devil tries to put the squeeze on you. Break his hold on your finances by giving more instead of less. It won't be long until the prosperity of God is poured out on you!

AMEN! I have found this to be so true! At any time of need I have chosen to GIVE MORE and HE has ALWAYS come through for me in a greater way than I ever even imagined! Learn to dream big and give big! We can NEVER outgive GOD! HALLELUJAH! Here is Hillsong with "Echoes (Til We See The Other Side)":

"Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." (Isaiah 40:4-5)

AMEN! Every natural thing that you see is SUBJECT TO CHANGE! Find what the Word of god has to say concerning every situation that you face, and then meditate on that promise until it becomes so real to you that doubts don't have a chance to stay! Here is Hillsong with "Who You Say I AM":

I really love the honesty of Kenneth E. Hagin in today's "Faith Food" devotional! He acknowledges how he missed it inprayer as he was learning to trust the inward witness of the Spirit of God within Him! THIS is a lesson we all must know!

On The Inside

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle . . . . — PSALM 32:8,9

I knew by the inward witness that I should go back to that church. And I knew my wife also had the inward witness to go back. But I still wanted the Lord to move in some “supernatural” way to confirm it. (I was only twenty-three years old at the time.) I wanted God to give me a word, tongues and interpretation, prophecy — or maybe even write up in the sky, “GO TO THAT PLACE!”

So I fasted and prayed three days. The third day I was on my knees, bawling, squalling, and begging, because I didn’t know any better, “Ohh, dear God . . .”

And God said to me — for He leads by an inward voice as well as by an inward witness — “Get up from there and quit acting like that!”

I got up! But I said, “Lord, if You would just give me a supernatural sign, I’d feel better about going back to that church.”

He replied, “You have all I’m going to give you! You don’t need any sign. You don’t need any writing in the sky. You don’t need tongues and interpretation, or prophecy. You know on the inside what to do. Now do it!”

Confession: The eyes of my understanding are being enlightened. I know on the inside what to do. God leads me by that wonderful inward witness. And I listen to it!

Speak to Your Mountain

Your mountain is any problem that you are facing. Address it with authority and command it to move in the Name of Jesus.

Every mountain is a servant to your faith. It must obey. Few have mastered the art of verbally commanding their mountains to move. Losers talk about their mountain. Champions talk to their mountain.

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." (Mark 11:23)

AMEN! BE a CHAMPION and NOT a LOSER by speaking TO the mountains in your life and not ABOUT them! Here is Hillsong with an older song called "Faith":

Today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin reveals another great TRUTH about God's plans and purposes for our lives!

Abundant Provision

. . . Let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. — PSALM 35:27

Here’s something else the Lord said to me during the vision I had in February 1959. It was not just for my benefit, but for yours too.

He said, “If you will learn to follow that inward witness in all areas of your life, I will make you rich. I will guide you in all the affairs of life— financial as well as spiritual. I’m not opposed to my children being rich. I am opposed to their being covetous.” (Some people think the Lord is interested only in their spiritual life — nothing else — but He’s interested in everything we’re interested in.)

The Lord has done for me exactly what He said He would do — He has made me rich. Am I a millionaire? No. That’s not what the word “rich” means. “Rich” means a full supply. It means an abundant provision. I’ve got more than a full supply. I’ve got more than an abundant provision. It’s because I learned to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit — and this guidance came to me by the inward witness.

God will make you rich, too, if you’ll learn to listen to the inward witness! Jesus said to me in that vision, “Now you go teach My people how to be led by My Spirit.”

Confession: The Spirit of God is leading me in all the affairs of life. He is leading me in spiritual matters. He is leading me in financial matters. And I am listening to the inward witness.

AMEN! There is NOTHING that can keep us from operating in God's richest and best provision when WE know who WE are - IN HIM! Learn to EXPECT His supernatural intervention in every area of your life that YOU surrender to HIM! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "See The Light":
