Today I want to do something a little different! I want to share THIS picture with you from Christine Caine. This message is SO vital! 

The middle portion is every bit as important as the first and last! So many times we allow ourselves to be pigeon holed by how others perceive us. This is NOT the way the God of the Bible intends for us to live this life! YES, we have been given awesome ministry gifts (Ephesians 4) who have been given "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry"(Ephesians 4:12) so that we can all grow up IN HIM! And YES, we ARE supposed to to follow those who follow Him (1 Corinthians 11:1). BUT, we are to become who HE has foreordained for us to become. No one should be able to label us as a follower of this person or that person, but a follower of the Lord our God (1 Corinthians 1:12; 1 Corinthians 3:4-5)! How do we accomplish this? By taking the message and OWNING it! We MUST meditate on the Word that we hear until it becomes real TO US! It is only THEN that we can actually act on the Word and expect the promised results! Look at Jeremiah 29:11-13:

11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. 12 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. 13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. AMP

He is speaking to YOU right  now! He has plans for YOU that no one else can fulfill! We were never meant to sit and listen to endless teachings, but to TAKE those teachings, make them OURS, then get out there in our own realms of influence and put them into practice! We are called to be DOERS of the Word! He can ONLY confirm what we SAY and what we DO, not what we hear and what we think (Mark 16:20)! Let's get ourselves out of the boat and into the waters of humanity where the lost are so that they don't have to be lost anymore (Luke 19:10)! AMEN!
