Just WOW! Another up-to-the-minute commentary on today's headlines taken straight from the Bible, written long ago! Yet the God of the Bible is our VERY present God! AMEN! Look at Psalm 2:1-3:
1 Why do the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme? 2 The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, 3 Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.
That is most certainly what the nations of the world, and the heathen of THIS nation, are saying on a daily basis! Should we be upset, fearful or concerned? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Look at how the God of the Bible responds to them! Verses 4-6:
4 He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them]. 5 He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying, 6 Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.
He LAUGHS! Remember that man does NOT think his own thoughts! We either accept the thoughts of God or the thoughts of the enemy! What we think about is what we will say and what we will eventually do! THAT is why we are instructed to hide HIS Word in our hearts! Psalm 119:11:
11 Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Hide the Word on a daily basis, stay in intimate fellowship with HIM, then speak out of the abundance of your heart and HE will confirm that Word with signs, wonders and miracles so that the lost can find their way to HIM! AMEN! And LAUGH! Cast every care on Him because NONE of this has ever taken Him by surprise! HALLELUJAH! His love and mercy is available too everyone, until it isn't! There WILL be an end to the opportunity to side with the One, True God, but that time is not yet! SO, let's be boldly, confidently and JOYFULLY about our Father's business and EXPECT His miraculous, supernatural results! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "This is Living":
