Shalom,

I want to share a portion of "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers:

Eternal life was the life which Jesus Christ exhibited on the human plane, and it is the same life, not a copy of it, which is manifested in our mortal flesh when we are born of God. Eternal life is not a gift from God, eternal life is the gift of God. The energy and the power which was manifested in Jesus will be manifested in us by the sheer sovereign grace of God
"Ye shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost" – not power as a gift from the Holy Ghost; the power is the Holy Ghost, not something which He imparts. The life that was in Jesus is made ours by means of His Cross when once we make the decision to be identified with Him. .... Jesus came to give us endless supplies of life: "that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." Eternal Life has nothing to do with Time, it is the life which Jesus lived when He was down here. The only source of Life is the Lord Jesus Christ.
The weakest saint can experience the power of the Deity of the Son of God if once he is willing to "let go." Any strand of our own energy will blur the life of Jesus. We have to keep letting go, and slowly and surely the great full life of God will invade us in every part, and men will take knowledge of us that we have been with Jesus.

The force of Life which God has within Himself (zoe - the absolute fullness of life) is the force that came into us at the very moment of our new birth! 1 John 5:11-12 tells us this!
11 And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life.

Have YOU received Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior? If you have, then this LIFE lives in YOU! You are NOT "just an old sinner, saved by Grace". You WERE an old sinner, BUT you WERE saved by Grace, so you are NO LONGER an old sinner, but a SAINT! When we sin as saints, then we go to 1 John 1:9 and confess that sin and receive the forgiveness that HE has already provided for us! AMEN! At the same time, we must NOT get into pride, either by thinking more highly of ourselves than we ought to think, OR by thinking of ourselves more lowly! Luke 14:11:

11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled (ranked below others who are honored or rewarded), and he who humbles himself (keeps a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly) will be exalted (elevated in rank).

We stay humble by seeing ourselves as God sees us, and then giving HIM thanks for it, because it was not by our doing, but by HIM! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Narrow Road":

Shalom in Him!
