Shalom,

Proverbs 15:2 is a good gauge to follow when listening to people in the world, especially politicians and the media!

2 The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool pours out folly.

If what they are saying lines up with God's Word, then they are wise and speak the Truth. If what they say is contrary to God's Word, then they are fools speaking out folly (foolishness, nonsense)! Don't believe everything you "hear" and "see" from the media! Ask the Holy Spirit to make things clear to you and to reveal God's opinion of things! He will do it! Then you will know for certain which one of these people you are from verse 14:

14 The mind of him who has understanding seeks knowledge and inquires after and craves it, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool feeds on folly.

God's Word is Truth, whether or not people want to believe it! What God says is right is right, and what He says is wrong is most definitely wrong! He loves all people, but He despises sin! We have only to look at the Word of God to know how God feels about anything and everything that the world has an opinion on! Verses 31-32:

31 The ear that listens to the reproof [that leads to or gives] life will remain among the wise. 32 he who refuses and ignores instruction and correction despises himself, but he who heeds reproof gets understanding.

Choose to line up your thinking with HIS thinking (His Word) and you will be wise and blessed! Verse 33:

33 The reverent and worshipful fear of the LORD brings instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

Choose Wisdom and you will receive blessing and honor!

We read Revelation 21 today. Verse 1:

1 THEN I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea.

We don't know what this will look like, but here is one artist's rendition:

I like this comparison between Genesis and the last two chapters of Revelation from the Bible Exposition Commentary:

God's statements recorded in Rev 21:5-6 aptly summarize these final two chapters: "Behold, I make all things new... It is done!" What began in Genesis is brought to completion in Revelation, as the following summary shows:

Genesis                                                                  Revelation

Heavens and earth                                          New heavens and
created, 1:1                                                             earth, 21:1

Sun created, 1:16                                                 No need of the sun,
                                                                                21:23

The night established,                                         No night there,
1:5                                                                               22:5

The seas created, 1:10                                        No more seas, 21:1

The curse announced,                                        No more curse,
 3:14-17                                                                       22:3

Death enters history,                                        No more death,
3:19                                                                      21:4

Man driven from the                                      Man restored to
 tree, 3:24                                                       paradise, 22:14

Sorrow and pain begin,                               No more tears or
3:17                                                                   pain, 21:4

God has a most definite plan for this earth and the people who belong to Him and it is a plan for GOOD and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11)! Blessing ALWAYS come as a result of doing things the God of the Bible's way! Amen!

Zechariah 12:3:

3 In that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples; all who lift it or burden themselves with it shall be sorely wounded. And all the nations of the earth shall come and gather together against it.

We KNOW that this verse is absolutely the Word of Truth because we see it happening on a daily basis! We cannot even begin to imagine the daily life of a person actually living in Israel. But, those who DO know their God will be strong and do exploits! These will bring honor and glory to HIM and lead others to salvation! Be ready for the exploits to begin to happen through YOU! Amen!

Shalom in Him!
