Shalom,

Proverbs 6:1-2:

1 MY SON, if you have become security for your neighbor, if you have given your pledge for a stranger or another, 2 You are snared with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech of your mouth.

These two verses are referring to becoming responsible for another person's debt, but we can, and should, pay attention to verse 2 in every area of life. Words are very powerful tools. Hebrews 11:3:

3 By faith, we see the world called into existence by God's Word, what we see created by what we don't see.

God SPOKE and the world and all that is in it came into being! YOUR words are powerful, too. Matthew 12:37:

37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Jesus also said this in Mark 11:23:

23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

And then again in John 15:7:

7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

The One, True God wants us to know Him and His Word so well that HIS Words will flow from our mouths and change situations and circumstances in our lives and in the lives of those we come in contact with! Words are vital, words are powerful, and God's Word is the final authority! Make HIS Words, YOUR words, and you will have His results!

Revelation 12:5:

5 And she brought forth a male Child, One Who is destined to shepherd (rule) all the nations with an iron staff (scepter), and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.

We have here the Birth and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus! He came for the purpose of dying on the cross to pay the ultimate price for all of mankind. He freely gave His life so that WE might live! Make sure that you are remembering, and telling, the glorious message of the Gospel along with all of your "Merry Christmas" greetings! The eternal lives of those people are at stake! BE the conduit for God's life! Amen!

Lamentations 4-5 tell of the destruction that the prophets had been warning about for a very long time! The people did NOT believe the prophets and therefore made no move to correct what God had instructed them to! These are the results of many years of rebellion. Rebellion against God's Word is costly for us, too. Look back up to Matthew 12:37! And then remember THIS in John 17:17:

17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

Make YOUR words be HIS WORD and you cannot fail! Amen! here is "What The World Will Never Take by Hillsong:

Shalom in Him!
