Shalom,

Psalm 70:4:

4 May all those who seek, inquire of and for You, and require You [as their vital need] rejoice and be glad in You; and may those who love Your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!

"Rejoice" is the Hebrew word "suws", which means: to be bright, be cheerful, be glad, greatly joy, make mirth. "Be glad" is the Hebrew word "samach", which mean: to rejoice, be joyful, usually refers to a spontaneous emotion or extreme happiness which is expressed in some visible manner and/or external manner; an abiding state of well-being or feeling.

So, REJOICE and be GLAD! AND, say CONTINUALLY: "Let God be MAGNIFIED!" Hallelujah!

Hebrews 4:2:

2 For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).

That is what faith, very simply, is! OUR leaning on HIM in trust and confidence that He WILL DO what His Word says! Verses 11-12:

11 Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell]. 12 For the Word God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting, and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The word "rest" is the Greek word "katapausis", which means: causing to cease, putting to rest, repose. One of the dictionary definitions of "repose" is freedom from worry, peace of mind. We are to be diligent to operate in that freedom from worry! Have you ever noticed how many times the Word of God says "Fret not"? Worry is a sin and will steal your faith. Actually, worry is really faith in the wrong thing! Meditating on God's Word will bring faith in God and His Word (Romans 10:17)! Then we can have the confidence to be doers of Hebrews 4:16:

16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

What a powerful promise we have in this! Are YOU taking advantage of the throne of grace? Do YOU expect the favor of God in your life? Dare to believe that what God has promised, He is able also to perform (Romans 4:21)! Here is Hillsong's "God One And Only":

Knowing and acting on Isaiah 53:4-5 will bring health and healing to your body every time! This is what Jesus did for us when He gave His life on that cross!

4 Surely he has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains, yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

Remember that faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God! Continue to meditate daily on these verses and you will be able to go from receiving healing to walking in divine health! THAT is God's very best for you! AMEN!  Then Isaiah 54:17 gives us this promise:

17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness if from Me, says the LORD.

EXPECT that every plan against you will fail because YOU walk in God's protection, provision and safety! Count on it! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
