Shalom,

Psalm 110:1 is very interesting! In the NKJV it says:

1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit  at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.

The first "LORD" is the Hebrew word "Yahweh" or "Yehovah", which is: the Eternal, Self-existing One, the proper Name of the One, True God. The second "Lord" is the Hebrew word "`adon" or "adonay", which means: lord, master, Lord, One who occupies the position of a master over a servant. It also can mean, in the form "adonay", Lord par excellence or Lord over all. This is another verse where the Amplified Bible does a great job!

2 THE LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.

There is no doubt that this is referring to the Father speaking to the Son (Jesus) as He ascended to Heaven! When the Father sends the Son BACK to set His feet on the earth, it will be to rule and reign as both a King and a Priest! He will not be a priest as the previous Jewish priests were, of the tribe of Levi and serving for their lifetime. Instead, Jesus will be a priest FOREVER! It is SO amazing that God the Son was willing to become the Son of God and live forever in a resurrected human body! So and very soon we will see Him face to face! Glory to God! Here is "You Alone Are God" by Hillsong:

Luke 22:1-6 is also a very revealing passage of Scripture!

1 NOW THE Festival of Unleavened Bread was drawing near, which is called the Passover. 2 And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to do away with [Jesus], for they feared the people. 3 But [then] satan entered into Judas, called Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve [apostles]. 4 And he went away and discussed with the chief priests and captains how he might betray Him and deliver Him up to them. 5 And they were delighted and pledged [themselves] to give him money. 6 So he agreed [to this], and sought an opportunity to betray Him to them [without an uprising] in the absence of the throng.

Did you notice a very key point in verse 3? "But then "satan" entered into Judas...". There have been many theories put forth about why Judas would do such a thing. Some say that, as the holder of the money, he had been stealing from the bag and was afraid of getting caught. Some say that he didn't believe that they would actually kill Jesus. WE don't know any of that, but what we DO know is that he didn't act until satan got involved! As human beings we are led by one of two Spiritual forces, either the One, True God, or the father of lies - satan and his evil spirits. Remember that when you deal with people who come against you! You and I have an enemy, an adversary, named satan who can only operate through people! That's why we are to "bless those who curse us and pray for those who despitefully use us" (Luke 6:28)! They are just people being influenced by the WRONG spirit! When we forgive them and pray for them and bless them according to the Word of God, we allow the Spirit of God to move on them! They will have the opportunity to repent, to change their thinking to agree with God and become a believer! If they refuse, it WON'T because WE didn't do OUR part! AMEN! Jesus had warned His followers than one of them would betray Him. Judas had the opportunity at that time to repent and not follow through with the plan. He regretted it later, but it was too late! Do the RIGHT thing by blessing them and keep yourself FREE!

Deuteronomy 26 speaks about tithing! Tithing is an Old Covenant command that continues in the New Covenant! Leviticus 27:30 says this:

30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.

The word "holy" is the Hebrew word "qodesh", which means: apartness, holiness, separateness, set-apartness. It refers to something that has been set apart FROM the world and set apart UNTO God! Then in Luke 11:42 we see this:

42 But woe to you, Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every [little] herb, but disregard and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done without leaving the others undone.

Jesus was saying that they should continue to tithe, but NOT leave out the other very important things that they were neglecting!  The tithe STILL belongs to God! He see the first 10% of our increase as belonging to Him! When we agree with Him, and present it to OUR High Priest, Jesus, then all of the blessings of a tither are ours to claim! Look at the third chapter of Malachi to find out what those are! How do WE present the tithe? Deuteronomy 26 is a good example, but here is one taken from KCM that puts it into our modern language:

Let me provide you with a sample confession for your tithe based on Deuteronomy 26. First read that entire chapter. Then relate it to the New Testament and hold your tithe before the Lord as you say out loud:
"We profess this day unto the Lord God that we have come into the inheritance which the Lord swore to give us. We are in the land which You have provided for us in Jesus Christ, the kingdom of Almighty God (Colossians 1:13). We were sinners serving Satan; he was our god, but we called upon the name of Jesus and You heard our cry and delivered us from the power and authority of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Your dear Son."
"Jesus, as our Lord and High Priest, we bring the firstfruits of our income to You and worship the Lord our God with it. We rejoice in all the good which You have given to us and our household. We have hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God and have done according to all that He has commanded us. Now look down from Your holy habitation from heaven and bless us as You said in Deuteronomy 26:14,15 and Malachi 3:10,11."

Be a tither and be blessed!

Shalom in Him!
