Shalom,

Psalm 70:4:

4 May all those who seek, inquire of and for You, and require You [as their vital need] rejoice and be glad in You; and may those who love Your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!

We read on Wednesday in Mark that the most important commandment is to love the LORD our God FIRST and MOST! With everything within us! That does mean seeking after Him, spending time in His presence, asking Him to teach you, trusting and relying on Him in every area. THEN we can rejoice and be glad! We then are those who love His "Salvation", the Hebrew word "Yeshuw`ah", which means: salvation, deliverance, welfare, prosperity, victory. It is THE NAME of our Messiah! AMEN! So say continually: Be magnified, O Lord, above the Heavens! Here is Hillsong singing "Salvation is Here":

In Mark 14 we see Jesus being anointed with the spikenard. Below is a picture of the plant from which this very strongly aromatic ointment comes from.

I read in one place that 300 denarii would probably equal about $30,000 today! Now THAT would get a bit of attention, don't you think? Do you REALLY think that Judas was THAT concerned for the poor? What he did after that gives us the answer! Put the MOST value on the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible; and your fellowship with Him; and you will never lack for any good thing! (Psalm 84:11)

Leviticus 10:1-2:

1 AND NADAB and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and offered strange and unholy fire before the LORD, as He had  not commanded them. 2 And there came forth fire from before the LORD and killed them, and they died before the LORD.

All of the pictures that I have seen portraying this incident have shown the fire coming off of the altar and consuming them. The Word of God says that the fire came from the presence of the LORD! Remember that His presence was manifested among them as a pillar of cloud by day and as a pillar of fire by night! It was the very fire of His holy presence that consumed them in their sin! This was the very day that the Tabernacle was anointed and their actual first day on the job! Remember, in the eyes of God, obedience is EVERYTHING! Find out for yourself how GOD wants things done, then do it HIS WAY! Blessings always follow obedience! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
