Shalom,

Psalm 66:1-2:

1 MAKE A joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2 Sing forth the honor and glory of His name; make His praise glorious!

"Make a joyful noise" is the Hebrew word "ruwa`, which means: to shout, to split the ear with sound, to shout for joy. Verse 2 says to make "his praise", the Hebrew word "tehillah", which means: praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and comes from the word "halal", which means: to shine, to boast, to celebrate, to make a show, to rave. We are to make His praise "glorious", the Hebrew word "kabowd", which means: weighty in a good sense, splendor, copiousness, glory, honour, abundance, riches, reverence, dignity. I think this means God is expecting us to be celebrating Him and being LOUD about it! How about you?

Mark 10:17-18 says:

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

The Amplified Bible says:

17 And as He was setting out on His journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him and asked Him, Teacher, [You are essentially and perfectly morally] good, what must I do to inherit eternal life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom]?
18 And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me [essentially and perfectly m
orally] good? There is no one [essentially and perfectly morally] good — except God alone.

Essentially, the young man was calling Jesus God because he called Him "Good! I didn't know why the Holy Spirit brought this song to me this morning until I read the Bible Plan! One of the verses says: "You alone are GOOD"! This is called Saviour King by Hillsong:

I LOVE when the Holy Spirit ties the Word together for me! He wants to do the same for you, if you will press in to KNOW HIM!

We began in Leviticus today and just the start of Leviticus should have you SHOUTING praises to the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible that WE don't have to do THAT anymore! AMEN!

Shalom in Him!
