In Matthew 9 we see that Jesus healed a paralyzed man. This man, who was brought to Jesus lying on a sleeping pad, rose up at the command of Jesus and went home! What was the immediate result of this miraculous healing among the people? Verse 8:
8 When the crowds saw it, they were struck with fear and awe; and they recognized God and praised and thanked Him, Who had given such power and authority to men.
This "fear" was the reverential fear of the Lord! They recognized that this was the power of Almighty God at work! THAT is what people will think and say when you and I begin to be bold and obey Mark 16:15-18:
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 .They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. KJV
You and I BEGIN to "go into all the world" by going out into our own communities, work places, schools, groups and other places of influence and being DOERS of the Word! Follow the leading of Holy Spirit and He will show you when too speak and He will give you what to say! HE will lead you in each situation concerning the laying on of hands. THIS is OUR part! God's part is the manifestation that happens when HE confirms HIS Word (Mark 16:20)! AMEN! And while we go about doing the works of Jesus, we must also continue to pray for the laborers to be sent out by the Lord of the Harvest (Matthew 9:38). Every born again believer should be involved with a good and Godly local church that teaches and obeys the Word of God. These churches should all be in a continuing and active partnership with ministers and ministries that have been called to preach the Gospel in other parts of the world! THAT is how WE take the Gospel "into all the world"! Are you ready to begin the final push towards the Rapture of the Church? Will YOU be found faithfully carrying out your Father's business when Jesus comes?
