I have enjoyed going through the Book of Proverbs this time more than any other time. There is so much practical wisdom in this book that if believers would have paid more attention to it, we would NOT be in the mess that we are in as a nation right now! I was almost sad to leave it behind, only to read Psalm 1 today and see that EVERY book of the Bible, in fact, every WORD, is filled with the Wisdom needed to make wise choices that will result in good and Godly things happening instead of the sin, perversion, darkness, and evil that we see running rampant. Look at Psalm 1:1-3:

1 Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

It is NOT too late to make a stand for TRUTH in your own personal life, that WILL affect those around you! Stop listening to the counsel (excuses, schemes, untruths, propaganda) of the ungodly as though it were the Truth! It is NOT, if it is contrary in any way to the Word of God! Stop standing submissive and inactive  in the presence of the ungodly, with their ungodly and unholy schemes, plots and plans! Stop sitting down to rest and relax among those who would try to change the Truth to fit their own personal lifestyle choices! Take your rest among people of like faith so that you do NOT fill your heart and  mind with nice sounding words that lead only to death and darkness! MAKE the Word of God your delight! Make every choice of each day according to what the Word of God says is right or wrong! Meditate on the TRUTH on a regular basis and the lies will never gain a foothold and cause you to wonder what is right and what is wrong! the God of the Bible created mankind and HE says how we are to live life! He created marriage and HE tells us what constitutes a marriage! He has wonderful plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11) that He wants you to carry out so that HE can fulfill His promises too you! You WILL then be like that wonderful tree that bears much fruit and EVERYTHING you do will PROSPER! GOD SAID SO! Amen! Here is Hillsong with "God Is Great":
