I know that today's blog will be nothing new to most of you, but it IS vital for our continued growth in the things of God; and for us to be effective in walking in the supernatural ministry that HE has called us to walk in. As Peter said (2 Peter 1), I want to stir you up in remembrance of these things. We see this in Philippians 2:9-11:
9 Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, 10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. AMP
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. AMP
Why is the Word of God so important? Look at Psalm 138:2 from today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan:
2 I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name! AMP
The WORD of God is what gives the NAME of JESUS the power and authority! Spend time getting to KNOW the Word of God, by reading, studying, meditating, sharing, and acting on it! Now be led by the Spirit of God as to how, when and where to SPEAK the Word of God, and to use His NAME! YOU will be blessed, HE will get the Glory and PEOPLE will see HIM in it all! AMEN!
