We saw in yesterday's post, from 2 Corinthians 3, that we who have received Jesus as Lord and personal Savior are being changed consistently into HIS image as we stay in intimate fellowship with Him. WE are ABLE to behold the gory of the Lord because we have been made NEW by the Holy Spirit Who lives IN us! AS we continue in 1 Corinthians 4 today, we see THIS in verses 3-4:
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The unbelievers we come across in our lives CANNOT understand the Word of God, YET! We MUST sow the seed of the Word of God for Salvation, (our Ministry of Reconciliation), into their lives! Pray before you do, and trust the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible to open the eyes of their understanding to realize their need for a Savior! Once they see that, it will be only a very short time before they DO receive HIM as Lord and Savior! THEN you can share the good things you've learned about HIM with THEM and they will be able to BEGIN to understand! AMEN!
