Psalm 127:1-2:
1 EXCEPT THE Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil--for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep. AMP
1 Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city,guarding it with sentries will do no good. 2 It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. New Living Translation
1 If God doesn't build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn't guard the city,
the night watchman might as well nap. 2 It's useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don't you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? THE MESSAGE
Now that election day 2012 is here, I pray that God's people, who are called by His Name, will CONTINUE to humble themselves and pray for GOD to continue to heal our land, and that the intense revival and awakening that is spreading across the nation will continue in the power and glory of His Name and His Word! HE is the only One Who can restore the USA to it's former greatness, and beyond! He desires for our nation and it's people to prosper, but He desires MORE for US to desire HIM! Don't rise early and go to bed late striving to DO more. Rise early to spend time with HIM! Get to really KNOW Him and you will find that every decision you make and circumstance you face will turn out for only GOOD! Then you can give GOD the glory! Amen!
