Psalm 97:9:
9 For You, LORD, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
He is exalted above all so-called gods! Notice the little "g"! They have names such as Buddha, Allah, and any number of other names. There is only ONE, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible and HE is exalted! AMEN! here is Hillsong singing "I Will Exalt You":
Luke 18:15-17:
15 Now they were bringing [even] babies to Him that He might touch therm, and when the disciples noticed it, they reproved them. 16 But Jesus called them [the parents] to Him, saying, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such [as these] belongs the kingdom of God. 17 Truly I tell you, whoever does not accept and receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child [does] shall not in any way enter it [at all].
How does a little child come to Jesus? With freedom and joy and no fear! Develop a child-like faith, trust, and confidence in the One True God and you will find your time in God's Word will be so much fuller and more fruitful! You were MADE to have intimate fellowship with HIM! AMEN!
There is a lot going on in Jeremiah 3-4, but the one verse we are going to concentrate on today is found in Jeremiah 3:15:
15 And I will give you [spiritual] shepherds after My own heart [in the final time], who will feed you with knowledge and understanding and judgment.
THIS is THAT time! God has called and anointed many pastors who are after God's heart! They desire with everything within them to fulfill His call on their lives and to feed and to teach and to train God's people for the work of THEIR ministry! This is God's plan and God's purpose, and there will be NO real spiritual growth unless we are involved in a good local church and receiving from a God-ordained Pastor! Visiting ministers, TV preachers, books, tapes, and video/DVDs are fine tools for growing up, but they are only meant to enhance what we receive in a good, solid, Scriptural local church! Don't short change your own life! Get involved in the local church that God has called you to and live to be a blessing there! Everything else will begin to fall into proper place!
