Today's reading in Psalm 95:1-7 is powerful!
1 O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise! 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights and strength of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and supplication]. 7 For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Notice in the underlined verses that it is our GOD Who owns everything that we see! Until the world realizes this, and looks to HIM for the answers, there will NEVER be a solution for the problems that we face! Today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin is very appropriate for us today!
Fellowship In Prayer
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. . . . But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. — 1 JOHN 1:3,4,7
If you have fellowship with God, and you’re walking in the light as He is in the light, then prayer becomes one of the greatest assets you have inherited in Christ.
Prayer is joining forces with God the Father. It is fellowshipping with Him. It is carrying out His will upon the earth.
Prayer should never be a problem or a burden to you. It should be a joy! Prayer — real prayer — won’t take anything out of you; it will always put something into you! Because you are fellowshipping with God when you pray.
Confession: I have fellowshipped with my Father in prayer. And my joy is full! I fellowship with God. I commune with God — I talk with Him, and I listen to Him — that I may carry out His will upon the earth.
AMEN! Practice daily on your intimate fellowship with JESUS through Holy Spirit Who lives IN you as a born again believer. The more aware we are of HIS indwelling presence, the more we will be able to walk in the anointing that HE has anointed us with! Go for it today! What have you got to lose? NOTHING!
