Shalom,

There is a verse in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan today that has come to mind a lot in the last couple of weeks! Look at Acts 12:21-24:

21 On an appointed day Herod arrayed himself in his royal robes, took his seat upon [his] throne, and addressed an oration to them. 22 And the assembled people shouted, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man! 23 And at once an angel of the Lord smote him and cut him down, because he did not give God the glory (the preeminence and kingly majesty that belong to Him as the supreme Ruler); and he was eaten by worms and died. 24 But the Word of the Lord [concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God] continued to grow and spread.

There have been so many headlines recently where people, especially silly celebrities, have been saying blasphemous things concerning the current president of the United States. Some have called him god! Some have said that he is the second coming! Some have called him the messiah! Some have called him prophecy fulfilled! His response to these things before the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible will be the difference between life and death for him in this life! If God is no respecter of persons, and He is NOT (Ephesians 6:9), then this president had better beware of worms!!! I don't know his heart in the least. None of us do. But the fruit of his life has NOT been worthy of praise! Continue to pray for the leaders of this nation. If all that you can find yourself praying is "Bless them according to Your Word", then you have prayed a good prayer! Praying in the Spirit is the very best prayer to pray for people such as this because we will be praying the perfect will of God concerning the situation without our soul (mind, emotions, and will) getting in the way! Mercy, grace, love and kindness is always the best route to take because what we sow, we SHALL reap! Amen! Here to encourage you to keep the One, True God as your #1 Priority is Hillsong with "Unending Love":

Shalom in Him!
